This smoothie takes some getting used to... It tastes very green, which it IS! I still have not come up with a perfect blend, but I'm getting there. This one consists of spinach and kale 50/50, the juice from a small lemon, and water.

Day 5 of my 30 day #ketochallenge last night and took my parents out for dinner so I had a bunless bacon cheeseburger with a side salad. Today was my weigh in day and on day 6 of my challenge I am down 5.1lbs!!!
"Aren't vegetables carbs???" Yes.
You have to eat a TONNE of vegetables to equal the same carb amount as a small portion of pasta or rice though. They are actually really low-carb compared to the volume 😁
Also vegetables are FULL of vitamins and minerals that are soooooo good for us! (Unlike pasta and rice that are not very nutrient filled!) Keto is not ZERO carbs. It actually includes a lot of vegetables too! Vegetables are nutrient-rich foods we can eat a lot of and still keep carbs low!
