From being a professional sprinter during high school days to turning into an alcoholic to being an #ironaddict . Well... "Life itself is your teacher, and you are in a state of constant learning." as @brucelee rightfully said. Being a sports lover during high school days had taught me self-discipline, sportsmanship and what "losing" feels like. Losing not only in the race but to yourself. Allowing the negative to take over your positive. Through all this, I mean ups and downs, being depressed and self-hate, I resorted to alcoholism. I had lost my "true-self". Who I really was? Where I came from? What was my aim in life? Alcohol had turned me into an aggressive, depressed and a pessimist individual . I looked at myself in the mirror and hated myself. And the same reflected on the outside. Resorting to alcohol was my choice, nobody to blame but myself. I came across a @willsmith quote, "Throughout life people will make you mad, disrespect you and treat you bad. Let God deal with the things they do, cause hate in your heart will consume you too." Got myself together, I was just ruining my life. Had to take charge of my life. Asked for God's guidance cause I was putting myself down and my parents. Now, I thank God everytime I hit the gym. For providing me with a medium, a medium to remind me what I'm actually made of, how to approach things in a channelled agressive manner. That's why all the grunting and cussing while lifting.... cussing to the old me. The iron is the best antidepressant I have ever found. There is no better way to fight weakness than with strength. Once the mind and body have been awakened to their true potential, it's impossible to turn back. I have now found my true purpose in life which is to inspire, to be a mentor and also create a legacy. I want people to remember me as not "Jeraz The Alcoholic" but "Jeraz the Iron Addict". I will continue to do so until I can lift IRON for the rest of my life.

Morning weight: 148.7lbs down from 151lbs+  on Monday after hyper hydrating these past couple of days.

I was in Vegas last week for work and went a bit overboard on my macros and had a few drinks. That threw me off completely out of my prep. I was able to still train 5x that whole week I was gone but was not able to properly track my macros. 
This is my first time in about a week or so that I updated my readings. Looks like I’m dehydrated with a little higher HCT reading and elevated Hb reading. I’ll do another test in a few hours to see how it improves.  However, these readings fluctuates a lot depending on many factors,  so I can’t really account for that being accurate. In any case, just posting this up to stay on track, document everything and keep myself accountable! .

This #instapot could not have arrived at a more perfect time. Lately I feel like I am only home to sleep for a couple hours and then I’m back up and out for the next day. This means I have to be on my game and prepared with food, water, coffee, outfits, etc to get through it all. Today I made a few days worth of my standard #keto mushroom 🍄 and spinach omelette in these handy mason jars to take with me on the go. #mealprep is 🔑 to not falling off track and making bad decisions on the fly.
