Home made tie-dye, criss crosses legs, afternoon hockey and a sleepy puppy. Things could be worse.
Weight is stagnant, so am I. Working on changing that. Trying to enjoy my days moment at a time. Keep maintaining your positivity.
Today is a milestone day. When I got up and got on the scale, it was the first time I can ever remember weighing under 200 pounds. This week also marked the 100 pound weight lost in this journey. I just want to thank everybody that has given me love and support during this journey! You all mean more to me than you know! If anyone wants to start a weight loss journey or is in the middle of one, just remember you can do it and don't let one bad day set you back. #workinprogress#keepgrinding
I want to give some props to @timray247 . He’s been working with me for 2 weeks on a training and nutritional program. Like a lot of us he’s a BUSY man. Between work, baseball & basketball games for his kids, and everything else life throws at us he’s had plenty of what would’ve been good excuses to skip a workout or just order a quick #3 meal from McPoisons. But, he’s not made any excuses and has found a way to stay on course. His results are really amazing for an initial 2 week span and also illustrate how there’s more than just a # on the scale to account for.
So, in 2 weeks he has dropped over 2% in bodyfat. The scale only shows him down 1 lb but he really doesn’t need to lose many anyway we really are approaching his program as strictly a recomp plan. His lean body mass is up by 3lb. In other words this man has added 3lb of muscle in 2 weeks. His only complaints have been that “it feels like I’m eating all day long” and “will this bloating go away” :) #proteinproblems but I’m sure he’s realizing now that the process works. Awesome Job @timray247 now it’s time to shift gears and do this damn thing! #hardworkpaysoff#raiseyourstandards#trusttheprocess#keepgrinding#dothework#wintheday#everyday#beastmode#justgetstarted#manup#maxout#attitude#gratitude#believe#payscalefitness

Whether you're a $1 million, $10 million, or $100 million business, your ability to grow depends on your ability to invest in your business. Thoughtfully evaluating every business investment will ensure you have enough cash on hand to allocate funds where they need to go, and move through periods when dollars may dry up. " ~ Verne Harnish

“Fail early, fail often, fail forward”. Failure is the #1 thing in life that will either help or hinder you. Wether it’s school, work, relationships, failure has always scared me. I was never someone to jump into situations without over thinking them like crazy because the thought of failing was greater than the thought of success. When you take a look at star athletes or just average gym rats failure is actually being looked for while practicing. Once a person pushes pushes pushes to reach that point of failure wether it be with lifting or running, their body adapts and makes those changes to conquer that exercise or challenge the next time. Successful people like Oprah Winfrey, Walt Disney, even Thomas Edison failed in their careers before excelling past their own failures and setbacks which ultimately made them stronger and better as the world has come to know by their success. A lot of people see failure as an end all be all, but next time you reach that point of failure think of the things you can change or even keep doing to push past that mountain and get your body or situation to alter, so you can eventually meet the goals you want to achieve. A month ago I couldn’t do one rep of these, notice the smile :-)
Let me see yours with the hashtag
Here’s a little bit on why I’m doing this ✌🏼
For the longest time my response to the question “what do you want to do when you get older” was always “I want to help people”. I didn’t know at the time how I was going to do it I just knew I wanted to impact peoples lives positively and make a difference somehow someway. I’ve been through all the options and possible occupations but never really had my whole heart in any of them. I’ve had a spark for fitness ever since high school because of what I could transform my body into after having it malnourished and empty for so many years. I’ve decided to take on the journey of a personal trainer to change peoples lives with fitness. I’m not here to give you bullshit advice on what foods are bad or what exercises will make your ass 10x the size in two days but I am here to listen to your goals and dreams and help you achieve them. So shoot me a dm if ya wanna chat or just tell your story, I would love to hear it!
