#2 ) Action movies did change a lot over the last century. One weird trend that can be noticed in action movies of every decade is the Gun size. James Bond of the 60's had a normal sized handgun, Dirty Harry of the 70's had a pretty big revolver, then John Rambo of 80's was straight up gunning everyone with a machine gun and Terminator of 90's used weapons like Mini-gun. This trend of action heroes having bigger guns also coincided with those movies getting more violent and having a higher body count. Every year, action movies become even crazier and more Over-the-Top💥 than before. Fast and Furious franchise would be a good example of this phenomenon in 2010s. The most recent "Fast 8" movie got completely ridiculous to the point that it feels more like a fantasy movie than an action movie🤷🏻♂️ Older action movies feel like dramas in our age. So is all this hyper violence and extremely high body count in modern action movies influencing society in a bad way? People seem to be less susceptible to all that violence in the movies, but is there a real life connection to it? Guns are already a pretty big thing in the United States, yet they are extremely controversial and unpopular because of so many recent school & other mass shootings. So if US already has a big gun culture, do those over-the-top action movies worsen the situation by making people care less about violence or are those movies get blamed for no good reason? Let me know what you think in the comments🤔⬇️ #Movies#Entertainment#Film#JamesBond#Guns#Violence#Action#Trend#OvertheTop#Shooting#Rambo#Terminator#Discussion#Interesting#Facts#Philosophy#Study#Society#Culture#ThisIsAmerica#Hero#like4like#likeforlike#followme#like#follow4follow#YouBetterRun#May#2018
Who remembers seeing the Lotus Espirt in the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me in 1977. The car which was built in 1976 featured in a long chase sequence, converting into a submarine.

Went passed this place today whilst in Elgin. So many memories so many movies. I remember seeing among a few the original 86 #Transformers movie here as well as #JamesBond in I want to say #TheLivingDaylights but I could be wrong.
