Still getting accustomed to a more narrow stance, however the majority of my reps were consistent.
The goal is to strengthen my positioning in this stance to enhance my competition stance in the future. 😬

James is not only a great athlete, but a great coach as well. In this episode we discuss James’ training and coaching philosophy, who has influenced James, what it means to be a physically prepared weightlifter, and much more.
I hope you guys enjoy this episode, because I sure enjoyed recording it.
Victor’s back in town! It's been great having him back and training with the team!
He's typically only back in town for 8 weeks out of the year, so we're lucky that his time here happened to line up with a meet! Victor and I have been working together since he was in grade 11 for track and field and since he left high school, we've been working together for weightlifting. I'm excited to help get him through his first meet in the sport!
Here he is, hitting a solid PR double hang snatch at 100kg/220lb! His current best from the floor is 102kg! I'm excited to see what we’ll do with 3 weeks to prepare! Solid work, bud. #deepstrength @vsim97
First National Championships in the books. Many thanks to my coach @bobtakano @takanoweightlifting and my friend and DPT @xtine_na.. Where would I be without you two?! Proud of my progress in the C+J, but not gonna lie.. Disappointed with my sub par performance overall.. Shown is the last C+J at 109kg/240lb.. Judge ruled "no lift".. What do you think? Either way, I'm hungry af and there's more in my tank.. #morecoming#18nationals#iwf#takanoweightlifting#usaw#hungryaf#Nationals2018#olympicweightlifting
