There are two ways kasi🚣, one is the shortcut which took us an hour-and-a-half and the other way is kapag low tide na- which was our path that time which took us 3 hours bago makarating sa isla.
Kaya kung magsi-stay kayo rito for more than 3 days, better find a way para hindi ma-spoil ang food.
Nature really has a way to keep you in touch with the previous events on the place- kumbaga natutunan ko rito yung dating pamumuhay ng mga tao--sobrang payak at kung hindi ka sanay na walang gawain maiinip ka rito 😃😂 Overall, what I can say is, let your self experience the waves of the ocean and heat of the sun in the island of Guinanayan.
Watching a wonderfully golden sunset at Punta Jesus Maria, Ometepe, Nicaragua. Can you spot the two volcanoes in the background? ✨Ometepe is somewhere you have to visit if you're travelling this side of the world. The natural beauty of this place with its two magnificent twin volcanoes -Concepción and Maderas Volcano is just breathtaking. 💫Rent a scooter so you can explore the islands. Transport is difficult to come by so a scooter is your best bet.
💫if you're feeling fit, climb Maderas volcano, the smaller of the two. If you are extremely fit then climb Concepción
💫Stay in the Santa Cruz area and eat at Clandestino restaurant, a cute treehouse hut.
💫head to Chocolate Paradise (in Santa Cruz) for some free morning Yoga (8am) then grab one of their amazing smoothies!
💫eat breakfast a local Nicaraguan joint called Comedor sunshine, massive portions, cheap and delicious. But be prepared to wait - they are on Nica time
💫Kayak down the intricate river and swamp land of Rio Istián. The river in between the two volcanoes!
Apologies for being inactive this past week. I went back to my images from the Hebrides and re-edited this one. I love the glow the light pollution throws onto the clouds, and the contrast of the TV mast in the distance.
