I feel silly raving my these headphones as much as I do. They totally impressive me. I would have never thought great, wireless, comfortable, great sounding headphones would make such a difference. They pump me up for workouts. They get me excited to use them.
I use them around the house too, for basically everything.
My advice...find something to get you excited to workout. Whether it’s headphones, new clothes, whatever it is....it’s not just that initial investment...if it gets you moving and doing things it’s an investment in YOU. And that’s never a waste!!!!

Long story about how this pic and post came about.
I was gonna just go in my story and talk about my lack of motivation to workout today.
But then I decided to make a post instead (not every body watches stories...I don’t know why 🤷🏼♀️ ) so then I go to take a picture to go with the post and right as the picture is taken Silas says to me “I’m tired”. “Me too” I said.
“Why do people work and be tired and then go to gym and be tired” he said...
“Because when you get older, there are things you have to do even if you’re tired”
and bam...I couldn’t make this up if I wanted to, The timing for the pic, the timing of his little conversation.. hit me right in the feels.
So today.. I’m dragging big time. I don’t always have motivation to do it all. But I just gotta do it anyways.
My super quick secret to getting over the initial drag....drink my preworkout and then I don’t have a choice. ⚡️ Hehe
So It’s kicking in now, so i’m gonna get dressed and press play. ▶️
I use this homemade granola a lot as a topping for my breakfasts...it’s not super sweet because I didn’t add any honey or maple syrup, etc but it adds a nice texture and I use a sweeter nut butter such as @pipandnut coconut almond butter so it has a hint of sweetness! You could always add a tbsp of honey/maple syrup instead of one of the tbsp of nut butter for a little extra sweetness if you prefer ☺️
You will need:
🔸20g chia seed
🔸2 tbsp coconut oil
🔸4 tbsp of your favourite nut butter .
Melt the coconut oil and the nut butter and then stir it into the dry ingredients. Once everything is well combined, spread it out on a baking tray and bake at 180C until golden brown.
I’ve drank more water in the last two days that I have probably in the last 30 years. Haha.
I tied setting water goals, or just telling myself I’m gonna drink more water. But my mindset is changing about that good old h2o. I’m only two days in to this program, and already its getting easy to reach for water first, before or instead of anything else.
