💪🏼 I always loved my training but it wasn’t until I started strength training that everything changed... My body, my mindset, the way I move and perform!
💪🏼Adding weight training into my regime was the only thing that transformed my body from what it was to what it is. I feel strong and therefore I am strong!

I sat with the idea for a bit and realized something 🤔
I am always helping people overcome their own fears on daily basis, so I thought it was probably time that I launched my self into some uncertainty and face some of my own. Challenge accepted Jeni 😃

Located ‘the mental block’ , or so it seems :) thank you very much to you who helped yesterday. And this morning, thank you @openheartscanunite 💕for your truths. Now, I start again.
Interestingly, the questions I get asked most often these days by both friends and students in relation to this handstand thing is ‘What’s your practice goal?’
The answer is, I don’t have a goal. I would be great to handstand for a minute, but frankly I don’t care. ( cue in puzzled faces). I am simply enjoying the process. And discoveries along the way.
Years of practicing yoga have tought me one thing - there’s no hiding on the mat. The mat exposes everything. All your strengths and weaknesses. Physical, but more interestingly psychological. A good yoga teacher just needs to know where and how to look to be able to tell a lot about the person on the mat. Their relationship to themselves and the world around.
It’s a little bit like that with the handstand practice. Just like with yoga, for me it’s never been about body. It’s always been a mind exploration. Exposing, awareness building, then moving the limitations.
Everything I do is heavily mind filtered first , doesn’t matter if it’s practise, food, financial markets, pretty shoes, love, handstands.
If I haven’t thought about it and analysed it’s probably not going to happen. Yes, the heart comes into play but the mind leads.
99% of the time.
