When you’re under the guidance of a true artist in their craft, it’s infectious.
What a privilege to have learned from such a high caliber of professors (and fellow colleagues) this semester. Can’t believe this one is almost over, but looking forward to the next 3 years stuck with all of you 😅😜🙏🏽
How often do you use math games with your students? We love using games during workshop every day, but seeing the amount of excitement students have while playing games during the spring months is so much fun.
Today, my third graders were 🤪EXTRA☺️ high energy during math workshop, but I love that all that excited chit-chat is filled with math vocabulary and a little math competition.

Last week, Mr. Honer and students participated in the 2018 #physicsbowl , sponsored by @aapthq! Each year, approximately 10,000 students take a 40-question, 45-minute timed, multiple-choice test under their school’s supervision. Student Eva Pei '20 initiated Tilton's first ever participation. #intheclassroom#ramnation#tiltonschool
We love visiting with students for the little things: the sparkle in their eyes when we talk about running around in the woods, their curiosity and questions when discussing wildlife research, their passion when they talk about the animals in their own backyards. And little notes like this are icing on the cake!
*Singleness* is not a curse.
It is not God punishing you for something you did wrong in the past.
It is not because you’re nobody’s “type”.
It is not because there’s nobody out there for you.
Like all of God’s plans, it is mysterious at times. Singleness can feel like a convoluted in-between place, where you’re neither here nor there. It can feel lonely or exciting, free or stifling. You might feel crippled with insecurity one day, and beaming with confidence the next. Trust me, I’ve been there.
In reflecting, praying, writing about my own #singleness in recent months, I’ve come to realize something crucial: God’s purpose for my life is the same, regardless of my relationship status — to “glorify God and enjoy Him forever” (John Piper). I won’t get less of God in singleness, and I won’t get more of Him if I’m in a relationship. ALL of Jesus and His fullness is available to me either way!
Whether single, dating, or married, His glory is my aim.
So don’t be discouraged if you’re “still single”. Live the life God has given you right now to the fullest. You won’t believe the places He will take you if you hand over the reigns and let Him do the leading.
Draw and Tell App. I modelled to my kids how to segment words using pictures and letters. Eventually, the end goal is that my kids will be modelling the learning to me 📱 #iPadwork#tech#technology#intheclassroom
