I used to dread wearing a bathing suit, in fact I wouldn’t really wear a full bathing suit.... a few years ago my swimming attire consisted of an unflattering bikini top (very covered up) and some work out shorts that so happened to match my top. Then the entire time wearing it I’d catch myself looking down at my stomach and legs to make sure I didn’t look “fat” or show too much skin 🙄. I’d spend so much time feeling uncomfortable with myself that enjoying the pool or beach was difficult. I wanted to feel amazing by the beach, I wanted to be that girl over there in a cute bikini playing volleyball. Running around with glee and happiness. So much confidence..... why couldn’t I feel that way? Why couldn’t I just be her? It took me time to realize that it’s not so much what’s on the outside, it’s what is on the inside. Because if I loved myself I could have been wearing something as cute and feel confident... instead I was so unhappy with who I was I didn’t even try.... it took me a few years to realize that before anything..👉🏼LOVE YOURSELF. ❤️❤️ .

Leg training has quickly become my favorite workout. The mental toughness and pure willpower to push for 3,2,1 more rep when your legs are shaking, your muscles are burning, is unlike any other muscles.

When I head to the gym I have only one thing on my mind: to lift as hard as I possibly can. My workouts are executed with speed and concentration. Sometimes I’ll chat with fellow gym goers, but usually working out is ME time. It gives me a chance to disconnect from the stress of everyday life, listen to my music and focus at the task at hand. So if you ever see me in the gym, don’t think that I’m ignoring you, I’m just focusing on getting the work done and doing it right. If you’re one to talk a lot in the gym, try to limit distractions and truly FOCUS. I promise you will see much better results if you put your entire mind, body and soul into the workout! 💯
