Early summer vibes from #Germany ⛰❤ @topgermanyphoto @topeuropephoto
This place has so much to offer. We came here for the first time at the last summer, but I'm sure it wasn't the last time! It has become the highlight of our trip in Berchtesgaden.
Cable car with ever changing views overcame my fear of heights. The slow ride up to the top could be intimidating for someone afraid of heights. But the changing view at different height provided a timely distraction. And the slow pace made it perfect to snap plenty of photos.
Panoramic, magnificent views at the top. The Watzmann along with the surrounding alps was just breathtaking. Plenty to walk around at the top station with a short walk up to the peak Jenner. Hiking galore! Many hiking routes for different fitness levels. And plenty of routes starting from the middle station. We rode the cable car to the top station and took route N3 Mitterkaserweg. It's indeed a beautiful descent from the top station, rather steep at times. But one is rewarded with great views along the route, including the starting point for the parasailing. Have a cup of hot Hugo at the Mitterkaseralm and take in the other side of the Alpine views. The route is straightforward and there are signs for directions too. 🇩🇪⛰❤😍
Let the Madeira Spam begin!
I spent the last 10 days on Madeira island with my sister @bernadettekrz. It's a small island in the North Atlantic Ocean and an autonomous region of Portugal. I thought that it was going to be beautiful but I wasn't prepared for how much I was going to like it! Our first tour took us to the Sao Lourenco Peninsular the Eastern most part of the island. Unfortunately we didnt make it to the end because it was SO windy. We actually couldnt walk in a straight line and kept on getting blown over. 😂 managed to take a shot of some other hikers who were crazy enough to go out! Lesson learned- always Check the weather Forecast 🙈
If you had a blank canvas for a house, what colour would you choose? I’ve spent the last 18months of my life thinking this in Bermuda.. and I’ve decided white with navy shutters. Or maybe that’s a bit boring? 🤔
Good morning! As winter is coming to an end - today is in the 70s and sunny, going to miss these glorious PNW winter pursuits. Tall evergreens with tons of snow and moody mountains..my kind of party. This shot is en route to IG's favorite (and a bit crowded on the weekend) of snowy hikes. Unless it's stormy weather, keeps the crowds away.
