Hello. Yes. Waiter? My friend and I would like a bowl of tuna. Preferably topped with a zuchini flower garnish. That would be ideal, yes. Don't forget to bring us some milk. Lukewarm, not too hot, not too cold. Got it? Good. I take nap now.

“We’re here with March of the Living. Poland was probably one of the toughest experiences for me- We were there for 6 days and after 3, I just really didn’t want to be there anymore. It didn’t feel like a place I should be, I felt like an outsider. Getting to Israel was incredible- the second I landed I started jumping up and down. The moment we touched down we all started singing Hatikvah. It gave me the chills.“ (Florida) #marchoftheliving
Chronicles of a traveller: Israel 2017 🇮🇱 ... the Christian Quarter ... inhabited mostly by Palestinian Christians ... a mosaic of Christendom and home to about 40 Christian holy places - including the Church of the Holy Sepulchre - representing the Coptic, Ethiopian, Franciscan, Greek Catholic, Greek Orthodox, Latin, and Lutheran Patriarchates ... (1) the entrance to the Christian Quarter from the Jaffa Gate ... through marketplace on David St. and then left on to Christian Quarter Rd.; (2) two young men head for for New Gate, built in 1889 to provide direct access between the Christian Quarter and the new neighbourhoods outside the walls; (3) the Via Dolorosa (meaning "Way of Grief," "Way of Sorrow," "Way of Suffering" or simply "Painful Way" in Latin) ... marked by nine Stations of the Cross, it was established in the 18th century - replacing various earlier versions but still inaccurate - as the path Jesus walked on the way to his crucifixion; (4) the Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem was established in Jerusalem around 1070 by Benedictine monks to care for the growing number of Christian pilgrims making the long and dangerous journey to the holy city; (5) on the first Friday of Ramadan, we found ourselves caught up in a massive crowd of 250,000 Muslims men streaming out of the old city following midday prayers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Temple Mount ... a little disconcerting 😱; (6) just a couple of hours later ... an almost deserted souk; (7) Palestinian women walk through the Christian Quarter on their way back to East Jerusalem; (8) if only these walls could talk; (9) storekeepers in David St. wait for customers; (10) a butcher and his sons get ready for the pre-Sabbath rush ... #ivanandeveinisrael2017#israel#iloveisrael#wishfulwednesday

The cliff at Rosh HaNikra is made up primarily soft sea sediments (chalk) interwoven with dark flint stones, and was created in geological periods when the sea was shallow and warm. As the result seaweed and sea creatures were discharged from the sea, and these consolidated to form the flint stones. In the chalk rock, the sea waves shaped the grottos and a natural stone sculptures.
