What’s with me and white tanks? In all seriousness though, in going through my pictures tonight I found this one on the left. It was my day one back in 2016, the day when I woke up and said NO MORE!!! I spent that entire year focusing on my health and lost almost 70 pounds. Last spring my world was rocked and I spent the better half of 2017 with my head barely above water. Now that I’m almost 6 months into my restart and a few pounds away from my lowest, I’m seriously in awe! I am ecstatic to know that in just a little while I’ll soon be at my lowest, and one step closer to my goal. My views on food, exercise, and balance have truly changed, and I’m stronger than I’ve ever been physically and mentally. No matter where you are on this journey, don’t give up on yourself. You are worth fighting for!! Take it one day at a time, hour at a time, do what works for you. If you love Keto, do it! If you count macros, do it!! If you Beachbody, do it!! Good morning fit fam! Here it is! Even though I've known it all along and have tried to tell people, this is my actual proof that diet is everything.
Taken 3.5 weeks apart. The left photo is a few days before my comp, and the right photo is now. I'm not actually embarrassed about this photo because this is natural, and I am purely a natural competitor. I take no supplements other than protein powder.
Putting your body into starvation mode for three months or more will cause your body to go into a panic state. Your body will want to pile on as much fat as possible for the next "famine" period.
Normally competitors will go through a super slow reverse diet and that's what I used to do in the past, but because I am competing in the next season I don't have enough time to regain what I've lost. It's my choice to do it this way, no one has forced me.
I wanted to prove to you all how even with the right training, your DIET is the number one factor when it comes to fat loss.
Now that I have a tiny bit more fat on me I can start the next shred phase! This doesn't scare me, God has taken me this far and will take me even further from this point. 💪 Come with me on this journey to season B! ❤️ @teamvpf
