Left: When you dress yourself; Right: After you send a picture to your mom and she says “You know better than that.” There’s nothing like a wake-up call from your mom. Haha
After weeks of searching, I can say that I’m finally employed again. It’s been a massive struggle surviving off of extremely limited income and i am so incredibly blessed to be able to live at home with my family.
While this job is temporary until I finish my CPT and get my foot in the door with a gym, I am so incredibly grateful that the universe and God have aligned me with this opportunity. I know that I am being given the chance to overcome my anxiety surrounding large crowds of people (which is funny considering how outgoing I am) and dealing with potentially volatile situations. I am insanely nervous, but I know that I need this to become a stronger person and a more efficient leader. Plus, this experience will totally help with my business, so ayoooo to knocking out multiple lessons in one, very big swoop!
You can find your girl at Target in Eastvale, along with a bunch of other things you didn’t know that you needed until you saw them. Weooo to doing what you have to do in order to get to where you want to be!
What's your go-to "Pre"?
Depending on the day I’m having, I will consider either Megawatt V2, or Project-1.
If I feel like I just need a little push (a love tap), I choose Megawatt V2 as my pre-workout. Megawatt gives me that caffeine boost along with the focus I need to keep my lifts in check. Think transforming to a Super Saiyan in this one.
Project-1 is a heavy duty one needed if I’m super exhausted and/or agitated and I NEED to make my GAINS. This bad boy has the caffeine, the pump, bcaa’s, Captain America’s super solider serum, Mastered Ultra Instinct, etc. The list of gains is endless on this one.
What's great about both is that they contain Creatine Monohydrate and a focus boost, which equates to a DAMN perfect workout!
The link for free shipping is in my bio, and don’t hesitate to ask any questions in the comments below, or DM me.
Fair warning: assess tolerance on caffeine before attempting. For example; start with a half scoop, and assess how that works.

Let’s take a look at this week...
T: Team dinner in NYC with free booze. W: 4pm happy hour at Corporate office in NYC with free booze. R: Land back in STL at noon and walk into Procurement throwing a lunch happy hour with free booze. F: Boss randomly schedules a 4pm team happy hour with free booze. The beer Gods are really testing me this week! Wrapping up a long week with one hour of sleep and back into work to make all the beer my co-workers consumed this week. 😝🍻#willpowerbeingtested#freebooze#midnightshift#beerbiz#itwasmorefungettingfat#iam1stphorm#legionofboom#duespaid
We would like to introduce Samantha Sanders to the Warfuel Kitchen team🙌🏻
She is with the sheriff's department and on the regional Swat team as well. She is the first and only female to make the Pima regional swat team🔥
A lil advice if you sweat as much as I do during your workouts, don’t use semi permanent hair dye🙈 I was sweating blue throughout my whole workout, and Dillon was wiping it with his shirt since it was already blue.. I managed to keep most of it off my clothes but it was a pain in the a** to deal with😒
Anyways, most of these exercises were 4 sets & reps ranged from 10-25 depending on the exercise.
P.S. song is AVICII cause he’s gone😭💔
I have spent almost all of my life being overweight. I’ve been constantly judged and made fun of just because of my size. •
What most people don’t know is that I have tried dieting to lose weight for YEARS. I went to my first weight watchers meeting when I was just 12 years old. In high school, I began working with a personal trainer. I was in the gym working out 6-7 days a week and was put on a very restrictive diet. I dropped weight fast, but then reality hit. I went on vacation and gained over 10 lbs in a week and a half. I came back from vacation and tried to get my act together, but just kept gaining weight as I tried to wean myself off of such restrictions in my diet. When I started college in the fall, I put all of my energy into school instead of my health. •
Here we are..2018. I had used 1st Phorm protein in the past, but that was about it. As I began to learn more about the company and those affiliated with it, I met @warriorfit1 and the rest of Team Warrior Fitness. I had never met such an accepting and supportive group of individuals in my entire life. I sat on the sidelines and watched throughout the Winter Challenge, but tried to start getting my act together (for the millionth time). By week 2 of the winter challenge, I knew that this was something I had to be a part of. I became more active in the group and a little less than 2 weeks ago I took the plunge and joined the Spring Challenge. •
I have always been ashamed or embarrassed when I’ve tried dieting in the past. I was always afraid that I would be judged for needing to diet in the first place and did everything I could to hide from people what I was doing or to even let people know I was trying something new. Earlier this year, I made an Instagram account specifically for my weight loss journey because I was too scared to share it with people that I actually knew and saw on a daily basis. I’ve come to accept the fact that getting healthy and losing weight for myself is nothing to be ashamed of. I no longer feel the need to hide my actions or explain myself to others. I know that I have a long journey before I get to where I want to be, but I want to enjoy every step along the way.
Today was one of those days. 😐 All day I knew I was going to need a glass of wine. But I kept telling myself “NO LIZ...You don’t need to just because you’re frustrated. Take your frustrations out at the gym.”
On my longgggg drive home I told myself “stop for some wine at the store, go to the gym and then you can have some” and so I stopped...
..... when I got home .... I changed, and was looking at myself in the mirror and was just NOTTTT feeling it. My stomach was bloated like CRAZY 😝 which btw I blame on energy drinks because two days in a row I have had one and BAM, crazy bloated.
So anyways, I was changing and looking at myself in the mirror and just said NO. My head and heart just weren’t in it. I can’t even recall the last time I’ve skipped a Friday night lift.
I worked out all week, including the weekend prior and although physically I could have gone tonight - my heart and mind just weren’t in it.
So here I am. On my couch. In my robe. With my wine. And instead of feeling guilt for having a glass of wine, I’m letting the wine whisper to me “you earned this”
But don’t worry, my daughter looked at me and said “we’re going tomorrow though right?!” 👊🏼
Find your reason why, and never lose sight of it. Let yourself take the day off because sometimes no workout is better than one you just don’t have the heart to do. (Disclaimer: only acceptable occasionally. It’s ok to take a break. This day off was earned!)
Today it was a cheat and tricep day. .
Recently it's been hard to get to the gym everyday, so I had been doing full upper body workouts-chest, tricep, back, bicep, shoulders. And I would hit legs when I would get an extra day in the gym.
But it felt like I was wasting my workouts since I didn't have enough time to focus on the muscle groups for it to feel and look like it made a difference.
So I began concentrating on less muscles -- wow I'm sore! 😖
I did shoulders and traps on Monday.
back and bicep on Tuesday. Legs on Wednesday.
and chest and tricep on Friday.
Oh man I am feeling it. I also got in 10-20 min of cardio each night.
I really need to have a preset workout program like I used to do. It's just been hard to stick to a program when life has been crazy and I have been inconsistent.
It's ok tho. One day at a time.
⚠️This post is not for everyone. Do bypass it and move on if it’s not for you. No comments necessary, I relate. ⚠️
And, so if you’re still here....here we go!!!
Sometimes, it’s not even a stranger. ❤️
I hope you encounter an angel or spirit guide today, tomorrow or sometime soon.✨✨✨ I so do believe in them.🌟🌟🌟 There are no coincidences.💫💫💫
What there is, is breath, smiles and tears...how you spend that energy is up to you.
Your energy is currency. Spend it well. Invest it wisely. ⚡️🙌🏼
When you do have leg day and abs!
I’m so glad I have #phormula1 and #ignition to give me a reboot!
I always thought eating less was good for weight loss.
No matter what it was, it was in tiny amounts.
I’ve seen other people like this too, people who are super skinny and look basically malnourished.
I thought quantity was more important than quality.
Don’t get me wrong, you should portion your food out correctly.
But when you aren’t getting enough protein or veggies and perhaps carbs but too much sugar and carbs in your diet, you need to rethink your diet “plan”. If you are like I was and need some help and a little enlightenment, DM ME.
@1stphorm has meal plans that are portioned our down to the gram for your weight getting to the weight/ results you want to be at.
Oh and it’s FREE. FREE. FREEMIUM.
If you want something you never had, You gotta do something you've never done!
Often people want something but won't do anything to get it! They sit there and wait for it. They want it but won't work for it. Wether you take 1 step at a time or make a leap aslong as you keep moving because this shit isn't for the lazy! When you want something, always ask yourself.. "am I doing the best I can to get it" or "am I willing to do something I've never done to get it" and answer yourself truthfully. Then when you find the answer yourself. Go f*ck shit up and give it 200%! #motivated#iam1stphorm#1stphorm#workoutmotivation
Next time you are doing the leg press, pay close attention to the positioning of your feet. There are three main positions you can do, each targeting a different muscle group.•
In this video, my feet are high up on the platform and close together (from this angle it doesn’t look like my feet are high up, but they are). I want to target my glutes, so I usually use this position and go heavy on weight. Don’t straighten your legs all the way at the top, so your glutes can be in constant tension!•
If you place your feet in the center and shoulder width apart, you’ll target your quads. If you want to build stronger legs and are less focused on glute activation, try this position! Going for higher reps really helps me feel the burn on this one.•
Lastly, if you place your legs toward the center of the platform and far apart, you’ll target your hamstrings. Many people want to see that definition and distinction between the glutes and hamstrings. If you go heavy, this can help!•
Email or message me if you’d like help getting started or switching up your workout routine!
My Friday Night
Dues Paid... my Wild Tribe putting in the work during Friday Night Lights.
As we do every other Friday Night... we open the doors to every CrossFitter... any gym... any state.
This night was about Frantasy Land.
What will the next FNL hold? If you're in the area... come by and let's throw down.
"Pain is the greatest gift we have in life. It is the only thing that will always be there for us, honest to us, cruel to us. Within that cruelty we can understand if we are moving forward, or backwards..pain is the greatest gift..." _____________________________________
Grinded through a grueling leg session.
Stay the course.
Slowly bringing deadlifts back into my routine. Built up to 275x10 conventional and proceeded to add in 4 sets of RDLs. I was so surprised at the painless-ness of these RDLs. Had great control for the first three sets, decent control on this last set but it faded as I went along lol 😅
Today’s Gratitudes! Day 12/30
1. Finished my semester today. Finals next week and then a couple weeks before I’m back in class🤓
2. Healthy enough to go to class and eat all my meals today! 🤗
3. I have a bed to sleep in and a family that loves me and a girlfriend I adore
I always find it strange when people dread being alone. My alone time is sacred to me. It’s my time to unwind and do some major soul searching. Also, it’s my time to jam out and dance like a crazy person in my apartment without being judged. 😂
Comin atcha with a late night workout..... what is happening to me I’m usually asleep by now 🤪🤪 lolol
Super hyped up after that leg workout. annnddddd my boo came with me. #happiness
I don’t get to record as much as I’d like, but when I get the opportunity I like to share with you guys what I do!!! * smith machine good mornings * Bulgarian barbell SS * Squats (not sure what to call them) lol
* Dumbbell RDL’s
* Kettlebell sumo jump squats * Walking lunges
Save this, share with to friends, let me know how you like it. LOVE YOU GUYS 🖤 (Who caught the wink at the end) #legionofboom#iam1stphorm#bootygainz#latenightworkout
🔥Here’s my leg workout from today. Swipey swipe for some not so professional fancy ass pictures. Ps: i wore my sweet sweat band 24/7🔥
✨ there were a few exercises I didn’t add in today since I upped to doing lower body 2-3x a week and i did those exercises 2 days ago. I’ll add those on the list though for those that want a full lower body workout👌🏼& a few exercises i didn’t get a picture of. Thanks to my bae @bryanne.gymrat For the pics😘.
•squats- 2 warm up sets and 3 working sets of 12. Move up in weight each time!
•leg press- 4 sets 10-12. Move up in weight each set if you feel comfortable(450 is what i worked to today!)
•smit machine split squats: 3x12 each leg.
•cable glute pull throughs: keep arms still against your legs. Don’t use your arms to pull the cables- 3x12-15. Keep weight light enough to keep form perfect.
•Hip thrusts with barbell: 3x12
•Bench step ups with ez bar or dumbbells: 3x15 each leg.
•Leg extension: 3x12
•Alt. Lying leg curls: 3x12 each leg
•Inner/outer machine: keep weight light and superset(immediately go into outers after inners). I burned out my legs with 20-25 reps of each for 2-3 sets
Push. Push. & don’t give up.
We use our legs so much, you have to really work them to get them to grow! I like to do a glute/hamstring focus on day and a quad focus another, then a full lower body for my last day! Trying to build that 🍑 and have strong looking legs!🤷🏼♀️ I lift mostly heavy on Friday’s and the other days are light and really feeling the burn.
MOST IMPORTANT: THAT POST WORKOUT RECOVERY/MUSCLE GROWTH COCKTAIL. NEVERRRRR SKIP IT✅ it’s crucial, y’all! I’ll save that rant for another post. 😂😘 now go tone that lower bod.
Don’t procrastinate because of weekend social events. Make the time. Get the work done FIRST, before you go out. You will enjoy the food a little more and it will help you get back on track after the fact. The muscle fibers and fat cells don’t care what day or time it is. The goals waiting to be made don’t care about excuses. 💣
We all have 24 hours every day. We all need food, sleep, water, work, rest. Make it happen baby. Make it happen.
What did you do to make it happen. Yes, I know #thestruggleisreal Yes it is! Tic Toc Tic Toc Tic Toc Tic Toc Tic Toc
While I was eating my post workout meal full of Protein,Fiber,Antioxidants,Vits A,C and Calcium,
I received my 1st shipment of supplements from @1stphorm!
2nd day from 8 weeks!
180 to lean 170lbs!
“It’s okay to want to quit, as long as you don’t…” - @andyfrisella 🙏🏻
And when you do want to quit, remember why you started!
I’ve had to remind myself this quite a bit lately...
But that’s okay!
It’s completely normal to have self-doubt, fears, etc... As long as you address them and kick them the f*ck out... Don’t let them live in your mind!
Life ain’t always peaches and cream but if you keep putting one foot in front of the other, you’re gonna make it there one day... 💯
For now… Here’s another Friday evening selfie for ya’ll to scroll past! 🤪
Cheers to the weekend! 🙌🏻
