Part of the upperbody recovery work I hit today. A few sets of 70lb single-leg landmine presses. Hitting this after super sets of pushup+protraction & suspinated pullups really gave me a pump on my serratus anterior. Chest/Back/Shoulders from the past couple days. Did a @fatgripz chest day n ended with 350x4 using fat gripz with Board Presses. Did singles of 235lbs on Log Presses. Ever wondered why you can’t seem to really achieve that wide back you want? Maybe it’s because you’re not fully hitting the muscle that’s responsible for it! The literal definition of the Latissimus Dorsi is wide back (latissimus meaning wide, broad; Dorsi meaning of the dorsal region of the body, or back) most people only do enough of a pull to hit the lateral side of each lat but don’t achieve that full contraction in towards the spine to hit the medial portion. Was so excited to Deadlift today that I didn't even chalk up...just raw grip 😝 Wanted to baby step it to "gain confidence" until @biggestfilipinoever slapped on 455# after pulling 435#. Jumped to 460--465--then almost got that 470 if I held it a little longer!!
