I don't post too many #weightloss or body-positive pics, not because I don't think they are important, but rather because this journey has been more for me than anyone else. But opened my dropbox tonight and knew I had to share these. The ones on the right were taken almost exactly four years ago when my best friend and I ran the #colorvibe . I was happy. The ones on the left are from tonight at the gym. I am happy. (Dont let the rbf fool you). The difference between the girl on the left and the girl on the right is measured in health, not in happiness. Here's to #progress and to over 130lbs gone forever! ... Plus, I admit, I really wanted to show off the super cute #ReadyPlayerOne workout gear I got from #HotTopic
If you truly know me, you know how much I love skincare. The satisfaction of pleasing my skin first right after I get out of the shower is such a great feeling.
Working in the beauty industry, I get a lot of questions regarding why the foundation isn’t sitting well on the skin, or why dry patches keep showing up, why their skin is eating up the foundation, and especially why foundation doesn’t last long on the skin. .
You know what the answer is? It’s definitely not because of the foundation (ever). It’s because you either don’t have a proper skin care regimen going or you are not applying your skincare in the correct order.
1. Face cleanser (not a bar of soap)
2. Exfoliator (once a week)
4. Treatment (if needing one)
5. Serum (or hydrating mist)
6. Eye cream (yes, you NEED this too)
8. Sunscreen (very vital)
I love skin care and everything about it, and I love to help anyone with questions regarding their skin so don’t ever hesitate to ask!
