Becky Moran has built a career claiming to talk to the dead. A successful clairvoyant medium, a Cambridge graduate with her own radio show ‘Medium Wave’ and a team dedicated to crafting the celebrity myth – because Becky Moran is a fake.
Until, one night, something supernatural, inexplicable, breaks through live on air as she is broadcasting. Becky Moran discovers the paranormal is real, the dead can indeed speak and she is being pursued relentlessly towards a battle for her very survival. ‘This thing has no defined shape. Whatever energy exists within it, it cannot settle on a shape. The strands of darkness curl out and then wrap back inwards. The bulk of the shadow becomes concave, then bulbous, the height building in on itself but lacking any skeletal structure to wrap itself around. There are no eyes, no clearly defined head shape. It is creating itself from darkness, like a swirl of ebony ink dropped into a vat of putrid water, spreading silently….’ More details at PromoteHorror.com
🔪Mournin’ Creeps!🔪 Happy Friday! So I absolutely love 80s Horror, though 2 of my all time favorites are NOT from the 80s🤭but most of the best Horror Movies (in my opinion) were made in this decade! Soooo much killer Horror!!😱 My first Horror Movie, Rabid Grannies (1988)! Then of course Night of the Demons, Pumpkinhead, & Killer Klowns from Outerspace are some more of my faves from the 80s! There’s such a long list though to name them all! So what’s your favorite 80s Horror Movie(s)?!
🕯 The Midnight Man, 2016 🕯 🎞 So a little about the plot ... A girl and her friends play a mysterious game that summons a horrifying creature known as the Midnight Man, who uses their worst fears against them. 🎞 So what did I think? ... The sole reason for me buying this DVD and wanting to watch it was due to #RobertEnglund and #LinShaye starring in it. Truth be told even these two big names in horror couldn’t save this from being rubbish. The only remotely creepy moments involved #LinShaye creepily walking around the house looking a little crazy. The acting bar those pair was pretty awful, the dialogue was full of cliches and painfully bad. The child actors at the beginning of the film set the overall lacklustre tone well. The characters were unrealistic and their actions made no sense half the time. Especially Alex, no one would be that calm wondering around an unfamiliar old creepy house. Their ‘scared faces’ were unbelievable and cringeworthy. The Midnight Man himself was so utterly laughable, his dialogue and appearance were just ridiculous and not scary in the slightest. The ‘game’ had a lot of rules which felt pretty unnecessary and I struggled to even keep up or stay interested. The gore was decent but there was no where near enough of it. Not much I liked about this one in all honesty which is a shame as I really wanted to like it! 1.5/5 #TheMidnightMan#SummerHHowell#LinShaye#RobertEnglund#EmilyHaine#MichaelSirow#GabrielleHaugh#TravisZariwny#horror#horrorfan#horrorlove#horrorlover#horrorgeek#horrornerd#horrorfreak#horroraddict#horrorgirl#horrorpage#instahorror#horrorgram#review#DVD#DVDCollection
