Long live this new bohemian pils from @middlebrowbeer dubbed, Queen 👸. Bready and grassy nose, with a bit of a sticky texture and a nice white grape flavor from what appears to be a solid dose of Hallertau Blanc hops. I wouldn’t call it crisp or clean for a Pils necessarily, but I’d call bright, smooth, and full of flavor. Love the cans too 👌🏻🍻👑.
From baby bumps to baby beer, things around here are growing at an alarming rate 😮 Our second year hops (or baby beer as I like to call them) have grown about 8 feet in less than 30 days! The first year hops we just planted aren't taking off as quickly. We're hoping the super wet weather hasn't impacted the rhizomes too much and they'll catch up once the sun decides to stay out for more than a few minutes at a time 🤞
Holy shit this double guava gose by @theveilbrewing was stupppid fire. Gotta hit my plug back up and tell him send some mo’!! Drank this and rolled up a doob the last of my @kush4breakfast White Tahoe cookies hehe
You know that moment when your finger accidentally dips into the can when you're opening it? And you get that first taste off the tip of your thumb? A sign of only good things to come.
A small bit of magic came from that first taste. Soft and light tropical fruit with a fluffy body. Resin peeks through as the beer warms and gives a lovely tingling feeling throughout the palette. @tiltedbarnbrewery has a graceful touch when it comes to beer and I only hope I have a chance to try some more soon!

Pregaming before the @lafc (LA Football Club) Vs @bvb09 (Borussia Dortmund) soccer game by going to the Dankness Dojo by @moderntimesbeer. I had a Game Impact IPA that was brewed at their Portland brewery and Monsters Park stout. Looking forward to coming here in the future awesome new spot in downtown LA.
Warning training like this will NOT get you a million followers on Instagram!
When you see pro athletes training on tv and social media you see all the cool flashy stuff that isn’t necessarily right for your young athlete. Flashy isn’t always the best option. Learning and building the foundational skills and movements that make a resilient athlete is what gets the contracts signed, the scholarships made and a long lasting career. Being willing to do what I take whether to be a great athlete is look cool or not separates you from the rest. -
So many athletes want to jump high but they can’t land right! MOST ACL injuries and other knee injuries happen on the landing or during deceleration! NOT during take off or acceleration. Not knowing how to land before you start to truly train your athlete how to jump is like having a pilot who didn’t pass their landing license.
