I just gotta remember that I’m like 10lbs lighter than the last time I hit 315 as s top single sooo yeeee. And I think I paused too long too LOL. Oh well 🤷🏻‍♂️. No excuses and movin on! And then did some light snatch grip RDL fives at 90kg. Nothing special. Just moving around.

Warm-ups didn't  feel great  but kept pushing.  Ended up with  a nice 10lb pr and a decent attempt  at a 25lb pr but didn't have it in me today. Greatful everything  still feels healthy  and  I live to  squat another day.

That’s what we do here and Dynasty Weightlifting. We constantly analyze every single rep done and see what improvements can be made. Here, coach @phattydynasty is doing snatch practice. His first rep was a fail but he knew it wasn’t a strength limitation because he had pulled it high enough. So he went reviewed and slowed down the lift to see what adjustments had to be made. After video review, he noticed that his feet weren’t moving quite exactly the way he wanted. His feet weren’t quite quick enough which delays the amortization time of the movement. With a quick fix and more intention put towards moving his feet where he wanted to, he was able to get it the second time. 92kg snatch.

Weightlifting is a sport about critiquing your technique. If you fail and you just keep trying over and over, you may gloss over the simple thing you need to succeed. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Whether you are coaching others and coaching yourself, take a minute to sit back and really ask what you can change in your technique. 💥 Foot pressure 💥
Something we’ve been working on at @pfp_barbell is equal foot pressure and active feet throughout the lifts (thanks @everydayweightlifter @phillysab!!) In my first set I’m not thinking about using my feet and my knees cave in when I stand up. @tomduer cues me to dig my feet into the ground we also pointed my toes slightly more forward in the second and third sets. My knees tracked much better over my feet with this correction. Sometimes the simple cues are the most effective ones. #keepitsimplestupid #firedup

Whoever made a 101 snatch didn’t have to do 90 burpees for leaving out weights the day before, we both missed… It was supposed to be an ‘active’ day for us and this is what happens. Never leaving weights out or missing a snatch ever again.

Je suis fier d’avoir battu mon record à l’arraché, mais plutot déçu du résultat à l’épauler-jeté. Mon total a été suffisant pour la deuxième position 132 +167 = 299kg 🥈La prochaine étape sera les championnats du monde Universitaire en Pologne en septembre prochain. Pretty exciting getting into the triple digits ☺️ 102 (only because I put a 2.5 & 5 on instead of 2 2.5’s 😂) — 3 months ago I couldn’t even snatch , just goes to show that once you put your mind to something and invision yourself becoming it, set a routine , remain consistent...there’s nothing in this world that you cannot achieve.
