🌟🌼New Blog Post!🌼🌟 Really happy to share with you my reflections on my first year as a Yoga teacher 1 year on from completing my Yoga Teacher Training in India! Link in bio for full article on "5 Things I have Learned in my First Year Teaching Yoga". 1 of the things from my list is: Yogi’s are human and just as messy as everyone else! I recently read a quote about this by Iyengar teacher Nanda Peek, she writes “Good yogis are not perfect human beings but people who have recognised their patterns of suffering and are putting energy into breaking through those patterns.” I think I used to assume that there was this end point where you suddenly are fixed and are no longer triggered by anything and have just reached this perfect place of peace. Now, I realise that we are all dealing with our own Samskaras (mental and emotional patterns that we are prone to be in a cycle of repeating over and over again) and each of us are doing our best to transform our destructive habits or patterns of behaviour. Healing is not linear. What inspires me so much about the Yoga teachers I have been taught by, young and old, from all walks of life, is that they are human too and they have their own personal issues yet all that messy human suffering begins to melt away when they step on the mat. They find a way to remain present, focused and committed to the practice and the students throughout class.

Have you ever observed when you or someone else may be your children. When you give them to many preservatives or sugar that your body just craves more and more.
Why? well this is my explanation
Firstly the body only really knows vitamins and minerals, highly nutritious food that links back to he universe/oneness nature which relates back to the earth. So of course your body getting food but not the right type when it is fake food which is the name I've given to processed and sugary foods.
So the body and mind wants you to keep eating until it triggers the right vitamins and minerals to function in existence which chemical processes in the body just happen automatically so all the time body and mind to keep organs healthy are looking for highly nutritious and vibrational foods.
We all need to get in tune agsin to our natural surroundings and just see the big supermarket Are just a distraction from the truth so that many can earn a living. But not putting the consumers at their best interest .
Reflection || I believe that taking time to turn in and tune in, in an act or reflection is vital for health. After all how are you to support yourself if you don't know what you truly need? 💫💫@nayyirah.waheed has me thinking -- "do not shops the lesser life. So you hear me. Do you hear me. Choose the life that is yours. The life that is seducing your lungs. That is dripping down your chin. "💫💫 Consistent reminders to grow and learn and stop the whirlwind of negativity in your mind 🙏

Gwilym Pugh: Lost 93 Lbs.
At 280 lbs., Gwilym Pugh was overweight, out of shape and living a sendentary life.
After a “5 to 7 year” weight loss journey, which included a lot of “trial and error,” Pugh, 33, lost 93 lbs. and found a new career.
Now, a top model and an ambassador for David Beckham’s grooming brand House 99, Pugh, he focuses on a diet of micronutrients and good fats, and managable exercise. “Due to injuries, I’ve struggled with high-intensity work, but I’ve found low-intensity cardio pre-breakfast has been great,” says Pugh, who now sees an osteopath and a trainer, and aims for 20,000 steps per day.
As for life as an in-demand model and social media influencer: “This life is something I had never even thought to dream of,” says the London-based Pugh. “Every aspect of my life has improved, from physical and mental health to personal and professional relationships.” ----------------------------------------------------------------

It’s so interesting to me how many people come for reiki believing they are the only ones with a problem. That everyone else has their lives together...following the correct, neat little path. 💫
Except for you. You mess up all the time...or it all looks good on the outside, but you’re scared anyone might notice the crazy, needy person you truly are on the inside!! 💫
Honestly, not even one single one of us has it all together...or really has a clue what we’re doing. We’re all winging it, all the time!
And if there is one essential part of the healing process, it’s realizing - truly understanding on a deep level - that there is nothing wrong with you. Nothing at all.
You are doing the best you can, having come through the childhood you had and the life experiences you had. 💫
Maybe you just need to allow yourself to feel what you feel, to be messy and imperfect...and to say “f&ck it - this is me!” I’m not perfect, but I’m still a perfect walking miracle, really. 💫
If you ever got the message otherwise in life (and which of us didn’t?!) then THAT’S the part that needs changing - not you.

Don’t forget to stay hydrated to help aid the body’s natural cleansing and detoxifying process as we move further into Kapha season. In Ayurveda water is the essence of life, nothing can exist without water and staying hydrated is vital to maintain equilibrium in the mind and body. 60% of the body being made up of water, it carries nutrients and oxygen to your cells, regulates your temperature, relives fatigue and balances the lymphatic system. Dehydration is a key factor which increases the symptoms of fatigue, anxiety, depression, mood swings, weak digestion, slow metabolism, irritability and not being able to focus. .
In Ayurveda the most effective way to stay hydrated is by sipping hot/room temperature water, by doing this you increase your digestion and nutrient absorption by 24% and balance your internal cycles. Ice water disturbs the ongoing process of digestion and puts out the digestive fire (Agni). The body’s internal core temperature is 37 degrees, every time you drink iced drinks much below this temperature, your organs contract to protect themselves, decrease blood flow to vital organs such as the heart and brain and use all your energy to increase your core temperature back to its normal state. This leaves you feeling fatigued, unfocused, dehydrated and bloated. Sipping herbal tea with spearmint, peppermint, rose buds, fennel or coriander seeds is a great way to stay hydrated while receiving the cooling properties of the herbs🍃
V A T A | Dry and airy qualities and are most prone to dehydration. But are forgetful and often forget their body’s ques of thirst which can increase imbalance of anxiety, feeling flighty and scattered. Vata types should drink 8-10 glasses per day. .
P I T T A | Hot and fiery qualities and are most prone to excessive thirst. They need to hydrate their internal heat to prevent imbalance of irritability and feeling short-tempered. Pitta types should drink 6-8 glasses a day. .
K A P H A | Dominant by the water quality, are most prone to water retention and feeling bloated from excess fluids. Kapha types should limit intake to 4-6 glasses a day.

After a cruelling trek in the dark in the small hours i got to the top of the Volcano and sat with 'The last post'playing in my headphones and with a tear in my eye , as the Sun rose i paid respect to the brave ANZACS that either didnt make it home or did but were never the same after what they had witnessed.
Shortly after a local guy picked up his Guitar and played 'Country road......take me home......to the place i belong' and it really brought home the sadness that so many died on foreign soil.
Breath work can make a tremendous difference in regulating our mood, reducing stress, lowering cortisol levels and assisting us to connect to our intuition and higher streams of consciousness. Taking even 5 minutes a day to focus on your breath will result in noticeable improvements when done with consistency. Alright guys, this is a picture that is hard for me to post. Not because I’m ashamed of how I look, but because this is a one month progress.
I don’t own a gym card, I don’t take any supplements, I eat LOADS of the RIGHT foods(that include both burgers 🍔 and fries) I feel energetic, strong, determined and focused.
So why is this so hard to post? Because it’s so damn EASY; I’m embarrassed of all the time I’ve walked around complaining about my body, my strength, my energy - without doing anything about it.
This is a one month progress and it’s only the beginning - I finally feel like I’m in it for the long run, I LOVE how good I feel, how my body is getting stronger and my soul is thanking me for finally tending to it. I look forward to seeing where I’m at in a year.

Many of us in the health and wellness industry are drawn to the concept of holism. We are passionate about health, and we are naturally altruistic people. To that end we seek to learn what is required for health.
Thankfully, we live in a time when information is abundant. There are a lot of very smart people out there from whom we can learn, and we can translate their knowledge into application for our clients and ourselves. By learning and applying specific skills and methods, we may be able to point a client’s body towards a more positive state, or improve our own health in ways we hadn’t previously considered.
But holism goes beyond just following certain methods and rules. It’s not a one-size-fits-all approach. Exercise and diet are important, but if you consider yourself a holistic practitioner, you will most likely include health of the mind.
At AMN we humbly propose that true holism should also consider the bigger picture of health. We think this includes:
Non-native electromagnetic fields (nnEMF)
Movement in multiple forms for multiple purposes
An understanding of the Mind
Together, these factors can promote health in the healthy and aid those who have struggled to attain health. A veritable tapas menu of wellness promoting practices is helpful… but an understanding of what resonates behind each of them and ties each of the components together into a whole is what creates ‘Holism’

Couple facts about COPAIBA....
Copaiba contains the highest amounts of Beta CaryoPhyllene- BCP of any known essential oil. BCP is an anti-inflammatory agent that also has analgesic (pain killing) properties. .
BCP is the third type of CBD (cannabinoid) that does not come from the cannabis plant, but affects the same CB2 receptors in a much more concentrated form. CBD derived from hemp has a 2-4% concentration. CBD derived from cannabis/marijuana has a 5-35% concentration and Copaiba has a 55% concentration. Copaiba is not a cannabis derivative, so it will never show up on a drug test or make you high. 🌱
