I'll admit I was feeling the first trimester fatigue this morning.🤰But my body and brain always feel better after I sweat a little. So I shook up my momfuel and got to work. 80 degrees and a nice cool breeze in the shade made for perfect conditions for a little outdoor HIIT cardio sweat sesh!!🙌 It's like my little oasis out here. I love PLYO days. Jumping high feels so empowering to me. (2nd to lifting heavy of course😉) And so far it still feels good. I was able to jump well into my 2nd trimester with my first two pregnancies. But all pregnancies are different. I'm taking it one day at a time, listening to my body, modifying when I need to, and doing workouts I truly enjoy. Ladies make fitness fun!! Get outside☀️ try something different👊 Don't always focus on PR's, losing body fat, and looking perfect. Those fitness goals will come and go. But your body is here to stay. Do it because of how it makes you FEEL!!💜
Looking for a burner set to get your heart rate up?! Well here is one of my favorites. I did three sets of AMRAP for all. This was after a full body workout so I had little left in me🤷🏻♀️ Any time there’s an excuse to workout outside I will gladly take it and figure something out to add!
@isaaayyyy can attest to the fact that this workout had us drenched 💦🔥 here is a HIIT workout focused mainly on upper body & core!!
1) warmup: seated rope pulls 3 sets of 3 pulls
2) 8 plank jacks, 8 mountain climbers, 8 spider mans x5min (repeat all 3 exercises back to back for 5 min, with minimal rest)
3) 10 push-ups, 20 shoulder taps, 10 toe touches x5
4) Russian twists 3x20 ss leg lowers & reverse crunch 3x15
5) bench hop overs 4x30 seconds ss tricep extensions 4x15
6) trx rows 3x10 ss burpees 3x10
Oh and we also did some stair master sprints at the end 😅😭
⭐️MOVE SPOTLIGHT⭐️: Clamshell Kick! (swipe through to see entire move)⠀
1️⃣ Lay on your side, elbow under shoulder, knees together.⠀
2️⃣ Open knees while squeezing glutes, keeping hips facing forward!⠀
3️⃣ While knees are apart, kick up that top leg! Squeeze glutes and point toes! Return to step 1 and repeat.⠀
Give this move 15x on each side for a good booty burn 🍑🔥.⠀
