Escucho constantemente en el GYM esa pregunta. Recientemente (Febrero 2018), un estudio evaluó el HIIT comparando el ciclismo y la carrera en relación con la pérdida de grasa. Los dos principales hallazgos fueron los siguientes:

* la carrera fue superior al ciclismo en la reducción de la grasa total y visceral;
* intensidades más altas fueron más eficientes en la reducción de la grasa corporal total y las intensidades menores tuvieron mayor efecto en la grasa abdominal.

Este resultado muestra que la cinta es más eficiente??? Tranquilo, el propio estudio resalta que debido a la variedad de protocolos de HIIT, otras búsquedas deben ser realizadas, pero de una cosa podemos estar seguros: la bicicleta no es el único camino. Utilizar la carrera para realizar el HIIT puede ser muy útil en el proceso de adelgazamiento. Recordando que tu necesitas un profesor cualificado para montar tu entrenamiento, ya que no todos los protocolos de HIIT se ajustan a la cinta, por ejemplo.

Heres another great 1 minute power routine to try next time you're near a @Technogym #SkillMill. I placed the resistance on level 7 for this circuit but feel free to switch it up.

1) 20 Second Sled Push

2) 10 Close Grip Push-Ups

3) 20 Second Sled Pulls

Then turn back around and start back to the top of the minute. Shoot for 8 rounds for a great warm up/burn-out to your workout.

O processo de #emagrecimento é crônico e multifatorial, sendo que decorre de mecanismos complexos. No entanto, vale lembrar que fazer HIIT emagrece.

Com obesos, observou -se que HIIT gera redução no tecido adiposo e na circunferência da cintura, e que 10 semanas é uma boa duração para ver tais mudanças. Neste estudo, o #HIIT não foi superior ao aeróbio contínuo moderado, mas precisou de 40% menos tempo para dar os mesmos resultados (Wewege et al. Obes Rev. 2017; 18(6):635-646)

Uma outra metanálise apontou que, em intervenções com 12 semanas ou mais, é possível observar diminuições na massa corporal, no IMC, na circunferência da cintura e no percentual de gordura corporal com a prática do HIIT (Batacan et al. Br J Sports Med 2017;51:494–503). Além disto, também são encontrados aumentos estatisticamente significantes na potência aeróbia, acompanhados de reduções na pressão arterial sistólica e diastólica!

Mais recentemente, outra metanálise constatou que, além de proporcionar reduções na gordura subcutânea, o HIIT também é eficiente na diminuição da gordura da região abdominal, inclusive a gordura visceral, tanto em homens, quanto em mulheres! (Maillard et al. Sports Med. 2018;48(2):269-288)

Portanto, é isto! Se você quer emagrecer, e alguém disser que HIIT pode te ajudar, vale a pena acreditar nesta pessoa.

Mas, ó... o HIIT pode ajudar, mas não faz milagre, não! É importante se dedicar e fazer as melhores escolhas possíveis.

Bon c'était un peu total n'importe quoi cette semaine niveau sport et diet. Difficile de combiner sport, boulot prof et études master et concours. Niveau repas, c'était grignotage et suicide diététique à gogo même si j'ai quand même fait un peu de sport (piscine mardi)😅 J'avais besoin de faire une pause cette dernière semaine. Donc, aujourd'hui j'ai repris une session d'Insanity Max plyometric cardio circuit de 60 minutes ce matin. Lundi je reprendrai toute la semaine 3 d'Insanity mois 1depuis le début. Well guys, it’s been a couple of days since I’ve been back from California and started my raw diet!! The first smoothie is from yesterday and the second one is from this morning! In both I have raspberries, strawberries, an orange, a banana, a handful of baby spinach, blueberries, and 1 tsp of chia seeds and 1 tsp of flax seeds! I just added 4 oz of water and blended away! 🤤 .
