Jumping into my Sunday rest day like🔥
Often overlooked, getting enough rest is super important 🧘🏽♂️
After consecutive days training we need to allow time for our muscles to strengthen, rebuild and repair! After breaking down muscle tissue in our workouts, It's the recovery period between training sessions where the processes responsible for muscle-fiber repair occur.. So without enough recovery, this can’t happen!
🌀 I try to set aside at least one day a week to chill out from all things training where possible.. And this week the weather’s definitely helping! .

@_sophskitchen_ is all about researching, cooking and most importantly, eating healthy, healing recipes. Soph is super young and super passionate about food and is currently intrigued by living a largely plant based diet. She’s concerned about health but also about our planet and is taking steps towards conserving both in her kitchen (well, her Mums kitchen actually!)
Last years #festivalfreedom goers were wowed by Soph’s vegan carrot cake with cashew butter & orange cream frosting and her to die for, banana and blueberry vegan loaf.
This year I’ve persuaded her to cater lunch and that’s all included in the £55 ticket price. The final menu is yet to be revealed but from what I’ve seen so far it’s #amazeballs . A Buddha bowl of vegan gorgeousness including grains, greens and beans with a fabulous dressing presented in a planet friendly, recycled and recyclable bowl. 🥦🥒🥕🍋🍅🥑🥥🌽🌶🍠
Sophs Kitchen will of course also be bringing a selection of sweet treats for purchase to either help replenish your
energy during the afternoon or maybe to take home for the fam!
