A few months ago I asked my mom @aetaz if she knew what happened to the Krishna poster that used to be in my room when I was growing up. I loved it - the energy of it the illustration touched me - and I really wanted to collage with it. My mom said she didn’t know but that it was probably in the attic along with *every* piece of art, letter, photo, random bit of fabric, and book from my first 27 years on the planet. She suggested that I come look for it and help her and my dad clean out and organize all the stuff from our childhoods while I was at it. I love organizing so last week that’s what we did. I found the poster along with the most mind boggling rabbit hole of artifacts from a truly blessed and beautiful early life. So many things I had forgotten! So many details and treasures that reminded me of so many wonderful people I’ve known. Do you remember when people used to write a postcard to tell you about their trip or a letter to share their life? I was amazed at the remnants of the pre digital reality and how different life is now with all our devices.
