2 yrs ago: Me and a couple of friends were downtown and linked up with this guy off Instagram. He says he has a connect that can get us on top of this building. So of course we make our way up the building and he leads us into this penthouse saying it’s his friends, but I wasn’t buying it. (It was the tip top of the building) I remember getting that adrenaline rush because I knew I shouldn’t have been there, it wasn’t his place to bring people up. So I get some shots off the balcony and they didn’t turn out too great because I didn’t really know how to work the camera yet. But it’s so cool to look back and remember all of that because of a photograph.
We made it out alive, no harm no foul.
I shot this long exposure at 8 seconds on a @canonusa 70D with a 14mm @rokinon f/2.8
I positioned the camera right above the South 1st. bridge looking South.

When I saw a picture of Kermóafoss, a waterfall almost in the heart of Reykjavik, I knew that I have to visit it. Once I arrived to Elliðaárdalur valley I lost my signal and had no idea which way to go to the waterfall. I let myself to get completely lost on the endless little paths discovering the forest. I found several smaller waterfalls, enjoyed the sound of the river, I saw wild rabbits and a mother bird feeding babies in nest! At one point I even forgot the main reason I was here for. I did find Kermóafoss in the end. It was beautiful. Listening to the water fall I finally really understood why it’s always about the journey and not the destination. #passionpassport#PPGreenEarth#roamtheplanet#heatercentral#l0tsabraids
