Been a lil absent from this account for about a week. Wasn’t doing too good mentally so took a break from thinking about cutting, working out, macronutrients/micronutrients/calories and comparing myself to everyone on the internet😅

Spent the weekend with my boyfriend just enjoying life and relaxing - consumed a lil too much alcohol, chocolate, pizza, cake & even my first Wagamamas. But I’m feeling so much better for it, and ready to get back into it feeling more positive than ever💆🏻‍♀️🙌🏻🌈
Been a lil absent from this account for about a week. Wasn’t doing too good mentally so took a break from thinking about cutting, working out, macronutrients/micronutrients/calories and comparing myself to everyone on the internet😅 . Bhelpuri is loved by each one of us. Made from Puffed rice with added Raw vegetables like Onion, Tomatoes, Potato (optional), Corriander leaves and Green chillies. 
Tips for a Nutritious BhelPuri:
1. Add as many as raw vegetables you like.
2. Sprouts can make the dish more nutritious.
3. Prefer Bhel puri over Wada Pav and Pani puri.
4. Home made is always recomended since Hygiene matters a lot.
5. Usage of lesser Sev as much as possible (since its a Fried form).
6. Calories are way lesser than other Chaat items.

I spent the day reading an ACTUAL book. I usually read books on my phone so it’s rare for me to hold a hardcover! ⠀

I picked up a copy of Trevor Noah’s “Born a Crime” from the Library recently (my latest frugal addiction) and after starting reading yesterday I’m already half way through. ⠀

Let’s just say I never get through a book that much on days when I’m constantly distracted by my social feeds! ⠀
⠀
I enjoyed the break so much I kept it going half way into today. And I surprised myself with how productive I was in that time too.⠀
⠀
I’ll never truly break up with social media, but geez it’s nice to forget about it once⠀
in awhile. ⠀

SALTED PEANUT🥜 BUTTER CHOCOLATE COOKIES🍪
Confession time, when I was taking a 📸 of these cookies, I  ended eating a couple of them. Disclaimer: they're delicious! 🥜½ cup @ohmega_nutbutters 🥜peanut butter
🥜¼ cup honey or chopped dates
🥜¼ cup @lemcke_fine_oils coconut oil
🥜2 tbsp. @nomuchirps cocoa powder
🥜¼ tsp sea salt
🥜1 tsp vanilla essence
🥜1 cup quick cooking oats
🥜¼ cup desiccated coconut
🍫Heat the peanut butter, honey and oil in a pan, stirring till mixed. 🍫Then add cocoa, salt and vanilla.
🍫Once mixed add oats and coconut. Stir till mixed. Turn off heat.
🍫Roll cookies into 1 tbsp. sized and squash into disc shapes.
🍫Place cookies on a tray lined with wax paper. Allow to cool down in the fridge.

Partly because it’s delicious, mostly because I always think I’ll die when I reheat rice so frying it gets it trustingly piping hot. And I’m not dead yet - and this was delicious. Colder weather is the best time for tummy warming slow cooked meals 😋😋 This is one of my absolute favourote meals; coq au vin. A traditional french meal that is so easy to make! Litterally chuck all the veggies and sauces with chicken and wine into a slow cook and leave it for 2 hours, sooo good and delicious 😍 As an added health bonus I've been adding in a drop of oregano particularly in my hearty meals and it tastes amazing! And better yet oregano is like a lil natural antibiotic and helps your bodies immune system stay in tip top shape which lordy I need this season 😂 👐👌 .

“Diet starts Monday” - or not 🙄
I’m sure we’ve ALL done the “diet starts Monday” spiel ... IT DOESN’T WORK❗️Well at least it didn’t for me ... It lead to patterns of restriction/binge/restriction + a VERY unhealthy relationship with food as well as my body ... By incorporating different foods into my diet throughout the week + allowing myself the foods I love, means I can enjoy everything in moderation + don’t feel the need to binge after one mouthful. This weekend has involved gin, carrot cake, popcorn 🍿 + copious amounts of crisps ... But that is OKAY as in the grand scheme of things, this made up probably about 10-20% of my entire diet over the weekend & I bloody well enjoyed it 🐻
So yeah, you bet I’m gonna put chocolate on top of my porridge this morning ... just like every other day of the week! (Legit I have to eat some kind of chocolate every day 🍫🍫🍫)

Buenos dias de lunes, que rapido pas el finde...😣. Pero con este desayuno seguro que mejora. Hoy  he desayunado mis #tortitastiramisu.Es la receta de siempre rellenas con QFB mezclado con cafe y cacao y endulzado con un poco de panela. 
Ingredientes: 6 u 8
-1 huevo y 3 claras
- 120g harina espelta
- 35g harina almendras
- 70g queso crema light
- 60g yogurth o queso fresco desnatado. - 2 cdtas de levadura no rasas. -1 cdta soda. 
1 triturar todo. Dejar reposar 30 min. Hacer como siempre.  Dentro he puesto la crema y arriba mas crema y almendras tostadas.  Han quedado deliciosas!. Si las pruebas etiquetame!. Feliz lunes #fitfam 😎

Super yummy Coconut chicken veggies with noodle or rice❤
Ingredients
4 cloves garlic, peeled2 inch cube of ginger (about 30 grams), roughly chopped1 small sweet onion, peeled, quartered1 Tablespoon olive oil2 Tablespoons butter2.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into four2 cans coconut milk, not shaken2 Tablespoons cornstarch1 can of baby corn cobs1 cup peas or frozen vegetables of your choice
For the spice blend
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper1 teaspoon ground cumin1 teaspoon ground coriander1 1/2 teaspoons ground tumeric1 teaspoon salt
Combine ingredients from the spice blend together and set aside.In a mini food processor, combine garlic, ginger and onion and pulse until it forms a paste.In the bottom of a slow-cooker placed on a burner (see IMPORTANT note above), heat olive oil and melt butter. Add pureed aromatics and stir well. Cook for a few minutes, then add spice blend. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.Move aromatics to one side of the pot and add chicken pieces to the pot. Cook chicken slightly on all sides, using a sturdy wooden spoon to move it around the pot. It should get thoroughly coated with the spice mixture.Open the cans of coconut milk and remove the cream from the top using a soup spoon. You should have about 1 cup. Pour the coconut milk over the chicken and with both cans, it should just barely cover the chicken.Drain the corn cobs and chop in half. Add to the slow-cooker.Place the slow cooker in the base and cook on low for 4 hours.Whisk cornstarch with coconut cream until smooth and add to the chicken. Stir well. Add frozen peas or other vegetables of your choice. Comme une envie de sucré ce matin, alors je troque mes fameux œufs - 🍳 (ceux qui suivent les storys peuvent en témoigner) - contre mes crêpes de farine de patates douce, et oui patate douce le retour 🍠 
mais cette fois ci accompagné de beaux fruits d’été et surtout nappées de beurre de noix de cajou 🤤 
Autant vous dire qu’il y en a déjà plus 🙈. -
Quant à la bouteille « détox » 😒 juste derrière, je l’avais surtout achetée pour récupérer la bouteille pour me faire mon petit kefir dont je vous parlerai dans un futur post; mais pour en revenir à nos moutons 🐑 cette petites boisson est pas mal du tout pour les matins pressés ou on a pas le temps de faire son propre mélange (Citron, gingembre, thé vert, basilic) donc que du bon, pour ma part je ne le prend pas comme indiqué mais dilué dans de l’eau pour en boire tout au long de la journée. -
Sur ce je vous quitte pour me préparer car aujourd’hui c’est la fête des mère(même si à vrai dire chez nous on pourrait croire que ça l’est toute les semaines) Tout ça pour dire, profitez des gens que vous aimez et surtout n’attendez pas un jour en particulier pour leurs dire que vous les aimez. -
