Coated the chicken in Besan flour, dipped the tender into beaten egg then into seasoned macadamia meal. In a pan I seared the tender only one side until golden, placed  the seared side on baking sheet and baked tenders in preheated oven 180’c for 20 mins or until lightly golden. 😋 so moist

Throwing back to when I was eating a high-fat, low-carb diet.
And now I cannot imagine my life without carbs. 😂
Lately I've been training a lot harder than before and my body needs and craves them all the time. Like literally, all the time. 🤓
Their main role is to provide energy, as they are the body's main source of fuel ⛽️, needed for physical activity, brain function and operation of the organs. All the cells amd tissues in your body NEED carbs, and they are also important for intestinal health and waste elimination.🙋🏼 #incaseyoudidntknow 
And you are probably going to tell me- but I read that carbs make you fat. Nah. Hang in there 😤. Carbs DONT MAKE YOU FAT. There is not a single food that can make you fat. It's all about calories in and calories out. It's a freakin numbers game. And the best thing is to find a balance. 🍪🍌🍳
Buut if you want to try a certain diet or lifestyle- GO FOR IT! I believe trying out is the best way to understand what works and what doesn't work for you. Just don't go to too far or to extremes.🙅🏼
I eat a paleo based diet, but I always say "based" - why? Because I hate restriction and labels. If I crave a bowl of oats, Imma eat a bowl of oats. 👻Otherwise I will eat my yoghurt and fruit or eggs with veggies. 🍳
So my main point here is, find what works for you and stick to eat. Find that lifestyle that makes you feel energized, makes you hit your goals and makes you HAPPY. And just remember that there is no such thing as the perfect diet.👌🏻The perfect diet is out there, but not in the way that you think. There is no one perfect diet that works for every single person on this entire planet. That’s impossible. Each person has a different set of nutritional requirements to keep them healthy. Many diets will sustain you or keep you alive. That doesn’t mean that they are good for you long term. Your perfect diet should not just keep you alive, it should help you thrive. It should give you the best possible intake of nutrients to allow your body to be as healthy as it can be.

Sorry for being absent with my food posts, I swear I am not dead . 😉
I just needed a lil break to figure out some things and goals of mine.
And it is fine because I am coming up with new ideas and a probably a YouTube channel 🙊 Yep, I am the queen of always finding a reason NOT to  do a certain thing that is unusual/scary but you know what? There will always be something to stop you , something to make you step back and think whether you are doing the right or the wrong, whether the risk is worth taking etc. And sometimes you just need to do it. Just do it. Dont overcomplicate things that are simple. Or if they are, just accept  them and do it again. 
Today I woke up and felt like I needed a lil change.🌞 So I went to the mall and got myself a package with henna/it's natural and doesnt do any damage to your hair 💁🏻/ and decided to dye my hair. Nope, I did not plan it. I just like trying out new things and experimenting with my look 👀. And I always love doing something like that when I am planning exciting things. It feels like a fresh start. And screw new year new me . Lets make it new day, new me. Dont wait for the perfect moment. It doesnt exist. Create it. And you'd better star RIGHT now ❤️
Just make sure WHATEVER ON EARTH 🌏 you are doing makes YOU happy, makes YOU feel accomplished and satisfied, makes YOU come closer to YOUR goals. You got this.❤️ Peace out I am going to eat this quick pre-workout snack, hit some chest & back and go on with my day 😋

Inspired by all the #royalwedding scone interpretations, here's my own: mango, ginger, goat milk brie, and cinnamon scones. 😍👑👸These were best straight off of the pan, but my bestie did a pretty good job of plating on British china before digging in this morning. ☕️👑💜

Recipe: Mixed 2 cups flour, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon salt in a bowl. Beated 2 eggs, 1/2 cup cream, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and added to dry ingredients. Added 1 cup mango, 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (would double next time!), make two ounces goat's milk brie (would double next time), and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Mixed a ingredients together, turned onto parchment paper on pan, molded into circular shape. Pre-cut into triangles before baking (so it could be easily cut in slices post-baking). Baked at 400F for about 20 minutes (until slightly browning). 😊💜🌿

Choose to go to the gym when it would be more comfortable to sleep in. Choose to do the tenth rep when it would be more comfortable to quit at nine. Choose to create something special when it would be more comfortable to consume something mediocre. Choose to raise your hand and ask that extra question when it would be more comfortable to stay silent. Prove to yourself, in hundreds of little ways, that you have the guts to get in the ring and wrestle with life.

Mental strength is built through lots of small, daily victories. It’s the individual choices we make day-to-day that build our “mental strength” muscles. We all want this kind of strength, but we can’t think our way to it. If you want it, you have to do something about it ritualistically. It’s your positive daily rituals that prove your mental fortitude and move you in the direction of your dreams over the long-term.

✅ In today’s culture, we are bombarded with advertisements everywhere for junk food. You have to be strong 💪🏾 to help your children develop good eating habits. It will be worth it in the long run.
✅ I do not buy juices, sodas, or any other type of sweetened drinks. I keep a pitcher of water infused with fresh fruits🍓in the refrigerator at all times.
✅ I keep fresh fruits available in the fridge instead boxed processed snacks. Food manufacturers help children develop a sweet tooth at an early age.
✅ I prepare their veggies in a way that they taste good, including when I prepare raw meals.
