Nope! I set a specific time each evening to do my exercise. I have a specific space set up to exercise in. I usually start with a 10-15 minute walk. And then...”I press play!” The thing that keeps me coming back the next day, is that I can see improvement in muscle tone and strength. I also feel like a new person.

🍴Ingredients: 🌱3 large bell peppers cut in half and deseeded
🌱1/2 cup jalapeno cream sauce + more for topping
🌱1 can black beans drained and rinsed
🌱1 cup quinoa cooked
🌱1/2 cup frozen corn
🌱1 can rotel tomatoes and green chilies
🍽Instructions: 🌱Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Pour a couple tablespoons of water into the bottom of a baking dish. Add all of the ingredients (except for the peppers) into a large bowl and stir to combine. Taste filling and adjust seasoning as needed. Fill each pepper with filling mixture and place in the baking dish. Cover with foil and cook for 30-40 minutes, or until peppers are tender. Remove from the oven and top with vegan sour cream, vegan cheese, your favorite dressing and cilantro. Enjoy!

How do you choose to feel today? Sometimes we act rashly based on our emotions instead of consciously choosing how we want to feel and making that wanted feeling become manifest.
This morning my toddler threw a MIGHTY tantrum over not getting what she wanted. My first emotion was frustration and then anger that I could not make her listen to why I couldn't give her what she wanted. But then I chose to get quiet, centered, feel calm, and attend to her NEEDS (thirst and hunger) rather than her WANTS (something sugary). Magic. She really gave the tantrum her all but once I showed her my calm face and voice and gave her space to finish feeling her frustration she felt better.
Later this morning I looked at my workout of the day and groaned: Plyo. Not my favorite workout! All that jumping around 😕. But I thought I'll never know how I'm going to feel unless I try. So I chose to be determined. I tried. And I surprised myself with a smile now and then.

Olivia is exactly like me and sometimes that drives me nuts.
She talks a lot like me. Moves non-stop like me, touches everything like me and when she doesn’t get her way she doesn’t like it one bit [just like me 😂]
After the intense morning filled with whining, grumpiness & tantrums [all which she is entitled to] ... I needed me time
‘Cause let’s face it— the only way I can give her the best of me is if I take care of myself.
So I got in a quick almzone workout, ate some nutritious food and grabbed a pedicure [thanks to the best nanny in the world who watched Olivia during the pedi!! ]
It was sooo relaxing and EXACTLY what I needed.
Sometimes as moms we forget how important it is to get in #selfcare . We feel guilty if we feel overwhelmed and wonder how some moms seem to have it together all the time ..
Well I’m gonna be honest AF I don’t have it together. One minute I’m supermom the next minute my 17 month old is eating dirt and shaking her finger in my face saying no no no no no.
So what do I do? How do I manage? How can I work from home and take care of a baby? ..
I ask for help. I vent to close friends and ask for advice. I am honest about my own needs and I know that if my cup is empty I have nothing to give.
So that’s it — I wanted to share my experience as a new mom with you because as rewarding as it is it can feel crazy challenging at times.
I know it’s mostly because I’m trying to hold on to my old self and I haven’t fully accepted that I’m not that old person. I’m a mom in addition to the other roles and as hard as it can be at times there really is no greater love and I wouldn’t trade it for the world ❤️

The short answer: YES. In fact, more and more research is emerging that suggests the low fat diet craze we have been on since the 70s is contributing to hormone issues, including those that cause infertility! ⠀
Low progesterone is often the cause of miscarriages and not being able to carry a child full term. Do you know what helps make progesterone? Cholesterol.⠀
Then, when women start going through menopause, they are often put on statin drugs, when they don’t actually need to be. ⠀
That’s because their low progesterone is causing their cholesterol to go up, because it’s trying to produce more progesterone, and it’s not working.⠀
In reality, the more healthy fats we eat – like the yolks of eggs have choline for example – helps make progesterone. ⠀
But we’ve been told not to eat those things! Don’t you see??? ⠀

What does your cart look like? Mine use to look the complete opposite, full of junk, no food. Literally I’d find myself eating more junk food and snacks than anything. I’d buy things I didn’t need, wondering aimlessly through the store. Come home and barely have enough to form meals 🤦🏽♀️ $400 and no actually meals. This picture is what is wrong with how society gets us to think and be 'healthy'. Counting calories is NOT a good determination if something is healthy. We are also so focused on the external that we truly don't think about the actual ingredients and what it's doing to the inside of our bodies. These options may be low calorie but they're still going to make you feel sluggish and not give you the essential nutrients your body is craving. If you're tired of counting calories, grabbing fast food 'healthy' choices, feeling sluggish, etc let me help you! I've never felt better with my nutrition and it costs me less than these choices. about last night. .
It was the first time I spent more than a couple hours away from ALL of the kids at the same time.
I didn’t feel “normal” without a baby in my arms, being yelled at and bossed around by my toddler or asked 8572025 questions by my 5 year old.
(I don’t get out much)
Last night was also the first time dad got to do the bedtime routine alone with three babies!😁
He got a taste of what I go thru riding solo dolo during the week.
They survived. . .but dad may have slight PTSD and I might be grounded.🤷♀️
