🥕 texture? (like crunch factor)
🥕 flavour?
🥕Colour!

1/2cup of oat + 1tsp of flaxseeds + cinnamon powder + 1cup of milk + 1tbsp of maple syrup + 🥥 flakes + dried cranberries + pumpkin seed + cashew nut butter .
🔸I made the base with oat, flaxseed , cinnamon, milk, maple syrup 🔸stir stir stir till all blended in.

🍰50 g Dinkelmehl
🍰10g Backkakao
🍰1 TL Backpulver
🍰1 Ei, 1 Schuß Milch und etwas Süße. Alles vermischen und in eine 12er Form geben, den Rand etwas hoch drücken.
🍰125g Magerquark
🍰10g Vanillepulver
🍰1 Schuß Milch und 1 EL Kokosraspeln, vermischen und auf den Boden geben, das Ganze bei 180 Grad 20 Minuten backen. Noch etwas Kokosraspeln oben drauf, voila 🙆😋🙆.

Roasted Salmon 🙌🏼👌🏼👍🏼🤘🏼 Handful of new pots (halved).. place on baking tray and spray with fry light.. season with S&P..15 min in the oven (220*) Half and thinly slice 1 shallot , roughly chop some parsley and we added some black garlic! 
Take spuds out after 15 mins and shaked them around (add more fry light).. make space for the salmon ( skin down and season),place on the tray next to the pots. Lower the heat to 180 at this point. 
Add splash of oil to saucepan and add shallots, cook til soft add black garlic and squish it up with a wooden spoon.  Add 10ml of balsamic vinegar and allow to evaporate. Then add 15ml of honey and some of the parsley. Stir and then add 75ml water. Simmer til syrupy then set aside. 
Steam off the veg - we used sugar snap peas and tender stem broccoli. 
Reheat the syrup sauce and add tiny tea spoon knob of butter to it. (2 syns each we estimate for the 15ml honey, splash of oil and tiny knob of butter)

Tomorrow morning I have an appointment so I am leaving Emma’s lunch pre-packed so that it’s easier to serve once I get home and it doesn’t interfere with her nap. I am packing her some of my Sweet Potato Chickpea Nuggets (recipe on the blog), grapes and blackberries, raw pistachios, and frozen peas. I have to slice and the grapes but I wanted to show them whole in the picture. The peas also won’t be actually served until tomorrow. She likes to eat frozen peas but not warm. Whatever gets her to eat them! .

Serving lunches the night before sabes a lot of time. I pack my husband’s lunch the night before too and Emma’s whenever we have things to in the morning. Like this I don’t have to put things together or try to figure out what’s for lunch when we get home. It’s all done and ready to go! 💚

In una alimentazione sana ed equilibrata gli affettati possono essere SI consumati, ma con moderazione e sempre scegliendo prodotti di alta qualità. 
Questo perché negli insaccati, prosciutti, carni conservate...vengono aggiunti degli adottivi: i nitriti o nitrati. 👉I nitriti in ambiente acido (soprattutto nello stomaco) si trasformano in acido nitroso il quale legandosi alle ammine da origine alle nitrosammine, composti dimostratesi cancerogeni. Inoltre i nitriti si legano all'emoglobina ossidandola, riducendo quindi il trasporto di ossigeno ai tessuti. 
In realtà, queste sostanze, non vengono utilizzati come semplici conservanti  per il cui scopo il dosaggio sarebbe molto inferiore a quelli utilizzati, ma soprattutto come coadiuvante tecnologico cioè per rendere la carne più rossa e intensificare l’aroma.

La domanda che sorge spontanea è: è possibile trovare, anche al supermercato, insaccati che non contengono nitriti o nitrati?
La risposta è SÌ 🎉 un esempio ci viene dato dal prosciutto crudo IGP che per legge non può contenere nitriti.

Peanut butter and cheese fat bombs. Yummy, satisfying and super easy to make! 4 ingredients and 25 minutes from start to finish. I used cream cheese 1c, peanut  butter 1/2 c, coconut oil 1/4 c and 1/2 tsp sea salt. Whip them all up, freeze for 10 mins, roll into balls and enjoy! Works great as a snack or breakie especially if you are trying keto.

A fire burns in 3 different ways.
A fire burns with kindling (small brush or branches).
A fire burns with logs.
A fire burns with coals.
Kindling burns really, really fast. A log burns slower… probably an hour or two. Coals burn for a long period of time.
Your body burns energy in 3 different ways also.
Carbs
Protein
Fat 
Carbs burn really, really fast. Protein burns at a slower rate but Fat burns for a long period of time! .

Healthy good fats are nothing to be afraid of. I don't mean the processed hydrogenated kind. I mean the pure organic virgin good kind like coconut oil, ghee, nuts and seeds and their butters. They can be incredibly beneficial to our health, supporting healthy brain function, keeps you energized and fuller for longer and even help lower bad cholesterol (go  figure)! That is why ketogenic diet (high good fat, low carbs) for some time can be incredibly beneficial. ✌️☀️.

Low carb keto pancakes for breakfast with a smear of raspberry chia jam on top. These I made using my own ground up almond flour, almond meal, mozarella, milk, eggs and stevia. Blend everything up in a blender and fry like your usual pancakes. Let's say this was take 1! But crazy filling!! 💛💛

It's nice to try something different today since I've been doing keto the last one week. My breakfasts have been consisting mainly of eggs and avocado or chia pudding and nut butter. My lunches and dinner whatever my family is having minus the carbs but with avocado or nut and seeds. It's been awesome, I feel all round better, more energy, my face has improved and I have lost some inches. It's an incredibly busy week at work but I'll try and share what I am having in my Keto week 2.  Can share some here and some on my stories. Have a lovely Sunday!! .
