Keto banana bread🤤
All this recipe calls for is:
-3 overripe medium bananas
-1/2 cup walnuts
-1/4 cup olive oil
-2 cups almond flour
-1 tsp baking soda ••••
I combined all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and used an electronic mixer on high until they were evenly combined. After pouring the batter into the loaf pan, I used another banana to add the slices on top. Bake at 350° for 55 min and enjoy your low-carb sugar-free sweet treat!!! 🤪🍌🍬🍞

We had so much fun making breaky for the @chodatfitness ‘A healthier you’ challenge! We are so excited to be involved with this program and share our best tips and tricks on how to make a healthier lifestyle the easy choice! 💪 A HUGE thanks to @barleyplus and @chobaniau for helping make these foods not only super tasty but super healthy too! These are two products that we eat daily and can confidently recommend knowing they score 11/10 when it comes to nutrition AND deliciousness!
There is so much goodness inside each teaspoon/capsule 🙌🏻 Each certified organic ingredient has been fermented for more than 3 weeks by a super culture of probiotics, making this more easily absorbed and easier to get the vitamins, amino acids and minerals to where they need to be. With this in mind it is important to understand if you are just starting out to use only as little as 1/8 of a teaspoon 🥄 many people have not experienced nutrition at this type of level and it is our aim to educate the body slowly 🍃
Have you tried our Super Seed Sprinkles yet? A flavorful blend of 9 healthy and delicious seeds, these sprinkles are the perfect topper for salads, fruit bowls, veggies + hummus, you name it! (We love to snack on them solo as well)🌿❤️
The different phases of making homemade falafel, beginning from soaking the garbanzos for 24 hrs. I’m not going to say this is easy to make, because it is time consuming but the results are a lot better than store bought and the best part is you can make it according to your taste. I have to admit, this falafel is absolutely delicious. I think my hubby and I finally perfected it. We didn’t use pita, we used lettuce, so I guess they’re more like falafel wraps. We also made lamb kabobs 😋 wraps because, it’s just healthier 🤷🏻♀️ I hope everyone had a great Sunday!

I usually make breakfast in the morning. For Lisa, I make an omelet with fresh vegetables and cheese, fresh brewed coffee, fake bacon and whole grain toast. For myself, Corn Pops because it has the essential vitamins and minerals that Lisa’s breakfast doesn’t. #breakfasttime#morning#healthyeats
When your breakfast is basically the same as your dinner🙋🏼♀🙈 this tofu dish came out baked to perfection & I just can’t stop munching on it🙊 all I did this morning was sauté a handful or so more of organic tuscan kale on the skillet in avocado oil until soft & then added the tofu/kale mixture to reheat + a pinch of hemp seeds for some extra protein & essential fatty acids🙌🏼 paired with cracked wheat sourdough toast, half topped with mashed avo & half topped with @oasisnaturals organic hummus + tomato slices, ground pepper & a sprinkle of nutritional yeast✨👏🏼 I got the most AMAZING night sleep last night (like 10 hours) & feeling soo good this morning! It’s crazy what a good nights sleep can do for ya😴
Peanut Butter Banana Muffins🍌These muffins are so AMAZING and moist. This is Cayns favorite recipe so far which was surprising to me because there aren’t any chocolate chips in it.
I really wanted a recipe that didn’t call for any almond, coconut or oat flour because those can get expensive.
1/2c melted coconut oil
1c creamy peanut butter
3/4c almond milk
1tsp baking powder
3 TBP flaxmeal
in a food processor blend until smooth
Pour into cupcake pans. Bake at 350 for 15-18 minutes

Well this weekend was amazing and exciting. Competing in FemSport 🏋️♀️ was incredible for me. Now as far as nutrition goes, I was a little off on following the program because #1 I was consuming more carbs intentionally so that I could have an abundance of energy to compete #2 we were staying out of town and travelling which always poses a challenge #3 after the comp I spoiled myself with a burger and blizzard and loved every minute of it! #4 we had a birthday party and I started strong following the program but ended up again indulging this time pizza and ice cream cake. I drank tons of water because of course water first! But I had a lot of silly treats and didn’t track what I was eating or step on the scale. Now I’m ready to jump back into the program tomorrow 100%! I don’t feel guilty and I don’t feel as though I “cheated”, this week I’ll step back on the scale and see what’s works for me by tracking and eating smart. This is my meal prep for the next couple days and it’s on point 👌🏼 I broke it down by meal/snack as well to show the veggie, FFC (fibre filled carb) and protein distribution. Prep gets me excited to start my week when I used to dread Mondays! ❤️ #2bmindset#healthymommy#healthyprep#veggiesmost#greenisgood#healthyeats#startyourweekright#waterfirst#happymonday
Today I tried documenting what I ate in a day for the first time, in a more public way. I didn’t do it to count calories, or to show an “ideal” way of eating throughout the day. I wanted instead to see how effectively I could listen to what I needed and really appreciate the process of doing so! This was a vulnerable but overall positive experience for me, posted in my story + also saved to my highlights ✨
