There’s nothing like a giant bowl of Zero Point Chili...on those kind of days.

💥1 pound cooked and rinsed, 99% Jennie-0 ground turkey
💥 1  can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
💥 1  can (15 oz.) pinto beans drained and rinsed.
💥 1 can (15 oz) red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
💥1 can (15 oz.) garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed.
💥 2 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
💥 1 cup water.
💥 1 tbsp chili seasoning powder
Directions:
Add all ingredients into a crockpot for 6-8 hours on low.
Stir and serve.
Servings: 6 cups. 0 Freestyle Smart Points per cup

1 package ground turkey
16oz can diced tomatoes 
2 cups compliant chicken stock 
1/2 sweet white onion
1/2 jalapeño, chopped 
3 tbsp green chilis 
2 tbsp tomato paste 
1 tbsp minced garlic 
1 tsp ground cinnamon 
1 tbsp chipotle chili powder
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp dried parsley 
1/2 tsp red pepper chili flakes
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 
1 tsp smoked paprika 
1 tsp salt 
1 tsp black pepper •

Add olive oil to sauce pan and heat 
Add onions and sauté for 3 minutes 
Add ground turkey
Add garlic and sauté on low-medium heat until turkey cooked
Add diced tomatoes, chilis and jalapeño 
Add seasoning and tomato paste and stir so seasoning is combined with meat mixture 
Add chicken stock and increase heat to high-medium, bringing to a boil
Reduce heat and let simmer on low for at least 1 hour, stirring occasionally

Killer Vegan Chili

Ingredients
1 Tbs olive oil
2 medium onions, chopped
2 1/2 Tbs chili powder
1 1/2 tsp paprika (smoked if you have it)
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp chipotle powder
2 Tbs cumin
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 Tbs no-salt herb seasoning, any brand or variety
your beer or stock/broth of choice (12 oz. beer or 1 1/2 cups stock)
2 c chopped bell pepper, any colors
1/4 - 1/2 chopped poblano pepper (use more for intense heat)
2 15 oz. cans no-salt-added diced tomatoes
1 15 oz. can no-salt-added petite diced tomatoes
2 Tbs maple syrup
2 Tbs low sodium tamari or coconut aminos
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp liquid smoke
4 c water
2 Tbs lemon juice
1/3 c uncooked quinoa
3 c cooked black beans (or 2 15 oz. cans, drained and rinsed well)
1 1/2 c crushed walnuts
2 c fresh or frozen corn kernels (organic)
Toppings like fresh cilantro, avocado or vegan cheese shreds (optional)

Instructions
1. Add the oil and onion to a large, lidded cooking pot. Saute the onion over medium heat for about 3 minutes.
2. Add the chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, basil, chipotle powder, cumin, oregano, pepper and no-salt seasoning. Add a few splashes of the beer/stock to deglaze the pan and simmer 3-4 minutes. Reduce the heat slightly and/or add more if the spices are burning at all.
3. Stir in the bell and poblano peppers and the rest of the beer. Simmer about 7 minutes.
4. Add the canned tomatoes, maple syrup, coconut aminos, salt, liquid smoke and water. Loosely lid the pot and simmer about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Stir in the lemon juice, quinoa, black beans, walnuts and corn. Reduce the heat to medium low, lid the pot and simmer about 50 minutes, stirring occasionally. 
6. Add enough water to make it the consistency you like as you need to.
7. Serve with your favorite toppings.

Gaaahh! My afternoon. A 💩 woke up my 2 year old from her “nap” 15 minutes after she went down, and my 4 year old was a mess. Sliced an inch long deep gash through my finger, Maggie smacked her chin against a table and is sporting a killer bloody bruise.  At least I managed to finish my FAVORITE turkey chili. Just waited for kids to go down to enjoy it in Tims pj pants with a glass of wine and a show. • 1 can rinsed black beans
• 1 can rinsed cannellini beans
• 1 can good tomato sauce (no added sugar or salt)
• 1 can crushed tomatoes (I used the larger can and added more than half of can, saved the rest for later)
• salt to taste (I didn’t add any additional salt)

Protein and fiber packed! Low in fat but high in flavor and great for work day leftovers lunch. -

-Turn flame up under large pot
-2 tsp extra virgin coconut oil goes in
-Sauté 3/4 cup chopped onions -3/4cup chopped green bell pepper
-3/4c red bell peppers
Sauté all
Add 1lb lean ground cooked turkey,  then add 2 cans of drained and rinsed kidney beans
-2 cans organic diced tomatoes, no salt added -1 cup Pinot noir
-2 tsp crushed red pepper
-1 tbsp chili powder
-1/2 tsp sea salt
Let it cook for 20 minutes
1cup is a serving 
1/2 g, 1 r, 1 y and 1/2 tsp

Pour the sautéed veggies and the drained kidney beans in a large slow cooker. Place the chicken over the top, then sprinkle the chili powder, cumin, and salt in the slow cooker.⠀

Pour the jarred roasted red peppers and their juices in a blender. Puree until very smooth. Pour the pureed red pepper and chicken broth in the slow cooker. Cover and turn on low for 6-8 hours, or high for 3-4 hours.⠀

When the chicken is cooked through. Remove it with tongs, and shred the chicken with a fork. Stir the shredded chicken back into the crockpot. Serve warm!⠀

This time I switched out the beef for lean turkey and used all organic products, including organic @SWBeans kidney beans. I also switched out the cheese for avocado. Talk about a difference! Bc of that, I altered my tempeh chili recipe with venison and spinach to add in some more nutrients, and I have to say, it is AMAZING 😍 This is sooo going to be in the normal food prep rotation when I’m done for sure 😋

This is our first all natural, vegan recipe we are sharing on untamedmedicine: Veggie Turmeric Chili! Vegetables are a good source of iron, potassium, calcium, and much more vitamins and minerals! Beans are filled with dietary fiber, good carbohydrates, and healthy fats. Turmeric is especially good for anti-inflammation and reducing bloating. This recipe is easy to make and is perfect for a rainy day!
Recipe:
1 onion
1 zucchini
3 carrots
2 stalks of celery
1 1/2 teaspoon of minced garlic
1 cup of water
3 cups diced tomato
1 cup organic salsa
1 big sweet potato (cubed)
1 can kidney beans
2 cups of yellow corn
1 teaspoon of cumin, salt, pepper , and turmeric
Directions:
1. Chop all the veggies into cubes (it doesn’t have to be perfect, just make sure they are bite size pieces)
2. Sauté the onion, zucchini, carrots, celery, and garlic in olive oil until they are soft.
3. Then add all the spices and salsa to the veggie mixture. 
4. Finally, add the water, diced tomatoes, sweet potato, kidney beans, and corn-simmer until the sweet potato cubes are soft. 
5. I like to add a handful of steamed broccoli and a dollop of homemade vegan cashew sour cream on top(we will be sharing the recipe with you guys later on so stay tuned)😊

I tried a healthy turkey chili recipe today and...I LOVE IT!!!! 😍 I had 2 bowls and struggled not to go for a 3rd! I wasn't expecting to like this because it is SO different from how I normally make chili (with lots of brown sugar, spaghetti, and corn bread).
