Repost @stronginsideout Our bodies are smarter than us. But listening's hard sometimes, amiright?⠀
Maybe you've disconnected from your hunger cues or don't have enough experience or consistency with movement to know when your body's craving it. Whatever's going on, you might wanna offer your bod an olive branch.⠀
This meat suit is the only you've got this trip, babe. I don't know about you, but I don't wanna go my whole life living with an enemy.⠀
My body and I are pretty good friends now that I've started listening to her. Not besties yet, but she looks out for me by telling me what she needs, and I *usually* honor it.⠀
The first step to making up with your body is just asking, \"What do you need today, you miraculous amalgam of cells and consciousness?\" (latter part optional) Then, just listen w/o shame or judgment. The taking action part can come whenever you're ready.⠀
I hope you and your bod can be besties someday. I know I'm working on it! ⠀
If you want some mega-help and guidance on the food and body image front, I’m taking 3-5 people through a 3-month coaching experience. Check it out via my link in bio!⠀

Let’s empower our children with the knowledge and understanding that helps them recognise the potential they each have in creating positive change for our Earth🌏Health education that makes them aware of the impact our environmental decisions have on our personal health, happiness and future. We are a Holistic, integrated and progressive system, our education must move away from human centred and embrace the circle of life and health that we belong to💚🌿💚
Me when I hear about a new diet or insane fitness program. 😑⠀
That's why I'm hosting The Raucous Weekend June 22-24. I'm taking 12 people on a 3-day thrill ride through the breakdown of shaming, metric-based health standards, and teaching them how to come back to health on their terms.⠀

I live in a very small town and I need advice. In this town there's not really much for a health movement going on and I want to start one. We have gyms but that's it. Nothing really organized. I want to start group meetings for people to get together and share their struggles. I eventually want to be a health coach and be able to just help people as I help myself. But how and where do I start? I created an event on fb but besides my husband who helps share it no one seems to want to help promote it. It's frustrating but I dont want to give up as this is my dream now. How do I get the word out and how can I make this appealing for people to want to be apart of? I would appreciate any help! I've pinned up posters all over the place in 4 different towns and paid for advertising on fb ( just a small amount cuz I cant afford much) #futurehealthcoach#healthmovement#supportgroup
As the esteemed DJ Khalid is known to say, "It's Another One"
...Another double PBJ construction at work that is. I got that #2ndlunchPBJ on my mind and my mind on my #2ndlunchPBJ .
Haters gonna hate, but around 4pm, they gonna wish they had citizenship to #PBJnation .
And we all know PBJs go best with a #mansalads , because I'm all about that #healthmovement .
What can I say, I'm #PBJblessed and on my way to #PBJdomination because I'm a #PBJboss .
They're locking me down in this cubicle, but in due time, I'll be poppin' PB jars and J jars in my corner office like I just won a championship game.
This is the face of someone who struggles every dang day.
A constant battle between old defeating thoughts.
Constant headaches from anxiety.
Struggle with derealization.
Struggle with feeling like a failure.
Fitting in with her family.
Living her purpose.
Speaking her truth.
Nit picking at her body.
Crying every day - from joy and suffering.
The reason why Onyx Health Movement exists is not because I think I’m the perfect success story, but because I KNOW what it feels like to wake up and hate yourself. But I also know what it feels like to shed a layer of that hatred and come a step closer to loving yourself.
“Onyx” doesn’t stand for me, it stands for the actual stone. It is grounding, protective, healing, self-mastery, transforms negative energy, provides physical and emotional stamina —> I want YOU to have access to all of these things through my journey of healing.
No one is perfect. We’re perfectly human.
Give me some feedback on what you struggle with and want help with so we can both grow together ❤️.
