Do you know what’s even better than the beaches in Thailand?
🇹🇭 The food!
My husband and I spent a month in South East Asia earlier this year and Thailand was my favorite stop on our trip. One of the reasons I enjoyed it so much was because of the food. I couldn’t get enough!
As soon as we got home I started trying to replicate the meals we had while there. I’ve finally nailed down a Whole30 Thai Green Curry Recipe that I love. And trust me, that’s saying a lot because my expectations for Thai food are a hell of a lot higher now!

Are you like me and HATE waking up? I can sleep a full 8hrs or only have 4 hours and still feel dreadful throughout the waking up process all the same! .
How long we sleep is important for well-rested we feel, but there a number of other factors that can affect how tired you feel in the morning, and you may be picking up on some habits that are affecting your energy the next day.
One of my bad habits is hitting the snooze button! .
But I just found out that when you fall back asleep for such a short amount of time, When you fall back asleep for such a short amount of time, your alarm wakes you up on the wrong sleep cycle, which can leave you feeling more tired than you began, which can leave you feeling more tired than you began. .
I've been reading this awesome book called The 5 Second Rule - in it the author explains a ritual she discovered to help override our own thought process that has us block ourselves from making better decisions because we let ourselves come up with excuses of why to or not to do something. One of her examples is her chronic use of the snooze button! She began counting down from 5 and jumping out of bed so not to let herself convince herself to stay in bed that little snooze longer. .
I've started doing this and it actually helps!
There are other bad habits that can affect your sleep:
1. Being on your phone or watching TV before bed
2. Irregular bed times
3. Drinking alcohol before bed
4. Eating late
5. Drinking coffee in the afternoon
6. Not eating enough fruits and vegetables (nutritional deficiencies)
What may be keeping you from getting a good night's rest?
Denver made this meal for me 🖤 I’m fortunate enough to be in a relationship with someone who shares my love for animals and is a vegan. A lot of people think that I somehow forced Denver into veganism, because how could a man possibly choose that fate for himself? Well, when you care about the earth and the animals we share it with, the strong choice is to change your habits for them.
Hey there IG! 👋🏻 The name’s Ashlee & I have created this new account to help track the progress of my fitness/health journey, create a place of accountability & to hopefully connect with other humans on a similar path! •
For me, being “healthy & fit” has taken on many forms over the years. From fad diets to yo-yo weight loss/gain, I finally had enough with the whole health thing. I knew something had to change. •
This year has been a game-changer for me! I have let go of the idea of perfection & fully embraced the process of healthy living - mind, body, & soul! I still have my daily struggles but I continue to learn to accept & appreciate this body I have! Ok, enough blabbing, let’s connect & do this crazy journey together! 😊💪🏻
Social media makes comparing ourselves to others all too convenient. It’s hard not to get caught up in wanting what you don’t have when it is placed in the palm of your hand, available at any time of the day.
As we all know, most of the time the picture perfect view we are given on Instagram isn’t the whole story. But even despite this- we all get caught up in it at times. So here is your Monday reminder to focus on your own journey, your own growth, your own milestones. Climb YOUR mountain this week because wishing you were on someone else’s path isn’t going to get you any further down your own. Remember to listen to your body, take breaks when you need them, but ultimately keep moving forward- whether it’s at a full sprint or just by putting one foot in front of the other. You’ve got this 💪🏼 #findyourtribe#vtf#vibetribefitness

Good morning! 😊 Monday means back to the grinddd. But it also means a new chance for a fresh start! Let’s make this week better than the last, and let’s make some new goals! My goal for this week is to eat more vegetables and no processed sugars! Nutrition has really been my downfall in the past for making the progress that I want. 😬But I’m extra motivated today to exercise more control and to be more mindful of what I put into my body! 😊 What are your goals for the new week?
Hidden fitness Secrets(what personal trainers need to hear) .
Did you know if your a personal trainer or even thinking of getting into personal training. Your better off doing your own thing than working for a gym.
First the ”benefits” I guess of working in a gym.
✖️exposure(getting yourself out there)
✖️practice your craft
✖️if you don't have liability insurance you're covered under the gym
✖️learn how to deal with high pressured sales🙅🏾♀️
That's really it. From my experience as a trainer who worked for several gyms, I tell you now. The work they ask you to put on doesn't compensate well enough. For what the gym takes and what taxes take. You break down what you made for the hour plus the session. You're better off training your friends and getting paid directly.
I talk about how working for a gym is a get your feet wet pass through gig. Making a career as a personal trainer for a gym, in my opinion, is a waste of your time and talent.

Tomorrow's meal prep.
Steak mince with mixed peppers crushed chillis and melted stilton 😋
Apparently, stilton isn't for everyone but I love the stuff and I can't wait to eat this bad boy!
All the best
