I'm not one to post about struggles or even let people know what I'm going through but i think sharing this can benefit you guys so here goes.
For those of you that know me well: you'll know that i eat anything, anytime, anywhere.
Well, suddenly about 6 to 7 months ago that started to change, no idea what caused it, but my gut microbiome rapidly deteriorated, to the point where i was sitting in the bathroom for about 2 to 3 hrs passing blood most mornings, almost crying in pain to the point that the only thing that gave me respite was not eating.
Severe inflammatory bowel disease runs in my family and i was doing everything in my power to make sure i wasn't going to be crippled by it, but nothing was working long term for me and i had pretty much tried it all. Every blood test and breath came back as good and healthy. I approach everything in life logically but this time i was stumped.
So for the first time in my life i decided i has to hire someone.
Along comes this guy: @adamomachy.
Don't let the 140kg+ lean frame or controversial social media posts fool you, this man is extremely well educated.
He sorts me out with a gut health protocol and diet and MAAAAAAANNNN YOUR PRINCE OF POWDERS IS BACK! 2 weeks in and I'm me again! I've been able to identify issues and triggers and form a battle plan to tackle them and rebuild my microbiome and I have a spring in my step now.

Full-body dumbbell workout from the hotel gym this morning. Considering what was available, it was a pretty decent workout with very limited equipment 👌🏻.
We discovered a gym right across from our hotel that looks liiiiit 🔥 so we’re going to go tomorrow and 🙏 they let us get guest passes (or @justget.fit and I are going to be hopping all over this place 😝).

Strongman training can be extremely beneficial for full body functional strength, increasing lean muscle and even dropping body fat.
While they are some amazing benefits we love strongman because it has a great carry over to every day life, it keeps the variety and spice into your training and is great for recoverability as a lot of our strongman moves don’t have a eccentric components think prowler pushes. This means better recovery.
Above all of these physical benefits we use strongman training for the sense of community these sessions bring. You meet new people, connecting on common ground with like minded individuals working towards common goals.
