I’ve always wanted to have that balayaged hair (is balayaged even a word? 🤔😂) but seeing the prices that salons did it for was too much! It ranged from £70- £110 and I didn’t want to spend so much money 👎🏽 so I ended up taking matters into my own hand. If you know me, I’ve never dyed my hair professionally, I always did it myself and I have tried out so many colours from red tint, purple tint, light brown, dark brown and even BLUE 🤦🏽♀️😂 but this time I knew it was going to be challenging and I wasn’t going to do just a whole head colour. So as you can see through the photos, using bleach on dark hair is hard as you need more than one application to lift the colour but I was going for a more light brown look instead of blonde anyways so only one would he enough. So after one round, I was happy with my results but I knew that my hair would have that copper, orange tint to it so instead of using purple shampoo which is more for yellow hair, I needed blue which would counteract the orangey-red shades in my hair. After failing to find one, I ended up making my own and ended up with this. Doing this made me more interested in hair and want to learn more techniques. Should I do a course and turn this into a job as well as makeup? 🤔😅 but thank you for all your lovely comments i’ve been getting ❤️
