what an unbelievable weekend, for REAL.
not sure how I keep getting blessed with so many amazing people & events in my life, but I do know that if you put out good then it will come back to you every single time.
taking today to recharge, re-focus, & plan out the next few weeks!
being more of an introvert than extrovert I always have to be highly aware of my energy after being around people for awhile.
I used to say bye to people & immmmediately get work, but that just lead to me burning out 2 days later.
what has been working soooo incredibly well for me on days that I do need to “recharge” is to simply use it as a relaxing, creative day to make some content, brainstorm ideas, and do some other things throughout the day that I enjoy. 🖤
for everyone who was here this weekend, super grateful for you.

Feeling kinda weak and blah after being away from the gym on a lil trip this past week 🇩🇰 BUT it’s always important to sit back, relax, and ENJOY the time you have on vacations. Get to the gym if you can or bang out a 10 minute circuit in the morning but ALSO eat that ice cream and sit out in the sun☀️🍦
A healthy lifestyle is about balance ⚖️ so don’t worry about the post-vacation bod it’s only a minor setback!!! That’s all the motivation/inspiration I have for today 🙃

Had a really good workout yesterday surprisingly, wasn’t really feeling it going in but just zoned out and kept going. Hadn’t done legs in about 5 days but I was actually able to squat my heaviest and I think I’m pretty close to a new PR. Been having a rough time post-meet with my health. Been dealing with a sinus infection, and some discomfort in my left calf. Feeling weak as wet spaghetti, but doing what I can to keep progressing.
Always be hungry for more... wanting something is not enough. You must hunger for it. Your motivation must be absolutely compelling in order to overcome the obstacles that will invariably come your way. I know we can do it 💪🏻😊 🍑

Good morning sunshine’s! 🌞 Here is an AWESOME super set to target all dems back muscles! This compound movement will have you feeling ripped after the first set.
Why should we do this?
A) growing your back muscles is an awesome way to give the appearance of a smaller waist!
B) reduce back pain, improve posture!
C). BUILD CONFIDENCE! Keeping your shoulders, neck, and back in good posture will show people that you are a confident soul!
Today we used the smith machine for some bent over rows, starting underhand for 10-12 then moving directly (supersetting) into over hand bent over rows for another 10-12. This exercise targets your lats, rhomboids, rear delts, traps, and even your biceps! I love to pair my back days with shoulders and biceps since they are already being worked.
The key here is the keep a straight back, keeping pressure in your heels, hinging slightly at the knees and mostly at the hips, and keeping your elbows tucked snug to your sides. Start with you arms straight and and have the bar resting just above your knees, from there, pull the bar into your lower sternum/upper abs. Pulling in quickly, holding for a slight pause, and releasing back down slowly! Slow slow slow is the key for optimal results. You want to keep those muscles under tension to get the #maxgainzboiz . If you feel pressure in your lower back, try moving your feet around until your find a comfortable position, or adjusting your posture/hinge. I like to stand with my feet just inside shoulder width, putting pressure on the ground evenly through the foot.
