Really need to work on my pull ups 😬
such a killer shoulder day 😪 currently training 6x a week, upper body 4x & lower body twice along w/ cardio after every session. i think it’s so important to be proportionate and be strong overall 🤷🏼‍♀️ i remember i would do “leg day everyday” but i realized my upper body was definitely lacking. since then i’ve gotten sooo much stronger & i actually enjoy training upper body more than legs 😂

Things I’ve learned during my fitness journey. 
TL:DR version:  You have one body.  Take care of it and if you ever need help or advice contact me.  I’m not an expert and we are all different.  I can however network you with the people who are experts and share what knowledge I have with you.

When I eat like crap, I feel the same.  If I don’t eat or I just eat garbage on a random night I feel sluggish the next day.  That in turn causes my work life and my workout afterwards to suffer.  Those two suffering causes stress and affects my effort in the gym, which in turn shows on my body and my attitude.

Typically I get home from the gym between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm depending on my workout that day.  Before, I would then eat while playing video games or watching YouTube until around 2am.  This led to an endless cycle of not sleeping enough and never feeling tired when I needed to be.  Once again this causes the previous paragraph’s effects.  A proper balance in my life has enabled me to enjoy everything in moderation.  Though it still takes me 2 hours to fall asleep, I manage to get an adequate amount of rest.

Thanks to my back injury, I’ve learned to check my ego at the ghym door. I don’t have to lift the heaviest weight in the gym.  I don’t need to do the craziest lifts or do what everyone else is.  Using proper form and proper weight have resulted in better gains and pumps than I could have ever imagined while swinging my arms like an idiot, attempting 50lb dumbbell curls. 
Through all of this, the most important epiphany I’ve had is that I get the most joy out of helping other succeed when they feel the world or their injury is holding them back.  I wish I could motivate everyone I know to lead a healthier lifestyle.  Maybe one day I will.  Until then I’ll continue doing what I do and hoping that I can help at least one person.

Good aesthetics=broad shoulder/slim waist! Lifting weights is always important when wanting to lose fat. Cardio is good too, but weights help with the after-burn affect. After-burn is when you finish a workout but your body is still burning fat due to the intensity of the workout.. which cardio sometimes lacks. Always good to incorporate weight and cardio. Shoulders are definitely an important muscle to hit when wanting the aesthetic look!💪🏾🙌🏾

First Exercise:
Barbell press up/ compound movement due to using 2 or more muscles on the lift. 
Second Exercise:
Seated front raise/ definitely try seated, reason being is to prevent momentum and put all the stress on the shoulders.
Third Exercise:
 Seated side raises/ again seated to prevent momentum. 
Fourth Exercise (Super-set):
Cable front raise/ rear delt flys.. super setting is awesome when wanting to add more intensity.! The more the intensity, the more fat burn.! Fifth Exercise (Super-set):
Heavy shrugs/ Arnold press. It was definitely an intense workout.! 😎

Your body is a reflection of your lifestyle, your habits, your decisions, Food, drink, physical activity, career, thoughts, emotions, relationships, environment. All of these factors will influence the way you shine on the outside. Change your lifestyle and the body will follow. It’s that simple. But love the lifestyle, every second of it. Many fail to commit because they hate the changes and sacrifices that our key to progress. Many temporarily commit. They think that they need to do x amount of work for x amount of time until they get what they want. They finally get what they worked so hard for and realised that all the effort was worth their time though continuing to opt for the same healthier choices and sacrificing their old habits is no longer necessary seeing that they have already achieved what they wanted. So they slow down, they fall back, they don’t commit and the vicious cycle of starting and stopping is all too familiar. If you don’t love the lifestyle, if you don’t understand that this is the only part that matters then it over before you even started. Do not bother starting because temporary changes only bring temporary results and nobody has ever wanted to look or feel good temporarily. Change your mind, change life.

A 225lbs deadlift may be like 545lbs to me. Am trying different things in training at the moment to change things up and put some fun into it , so i hit abs first this morning and put a lil’ cardio in 🔥

Do some step overs , 10 each side then straight into ab crunches , bring your knees right to your chest keeping your back straight , do 15 reps and do the thing 3 times , after doing this my energy went up so high put a fucking hole in the roof 🔥🔋
