I sought to develop a program that made people look forward to coming to the gym rather than looking at it as a chore. People love the camaraderie and the personal attention. All we have done is invited more people to the party! .
This sweat party has taken on a life of its own. We all know eachother by the end of the class, what people do for work, where they go to eat, or even how much they may have drank the night before. The all-in-it-together approach, allows everyone to complete the workouts despite their degree of difficulty. So yes, we might have a few people trying hard not to throw up during the class, but being able to laugh about it afterwards and share in each other's pain at the end of the class is quite appealing. .
I want people to empty the tank when they come to a @grouppt session, I want them to completely surrender themselves to the workout. This is where progress is made , this is where your body changes both physically and mentally. You realize you can do something you once thought you couldn't. That is ADDICTIVE! And that's what gets people coming back. .

Another Motivation Monday shout out to this beautiful women!
Aly is participates in AF group training at least 2 times per week and is also does PT.
Aly is proof like Arielle, that the scale does not define your success. We did a scan for Aly in mid February and again this past weekend.
Aly’s weight went up 4.8 lbs, her skeletal muscle mass went up 3.6 lbs and her body fat went down 1.9% in the last 9 weeks. More proof that the number on the scale doesn’t define your hard work and success on its own.
Aly has made gains in body composition but the biggest gains have been in her confidence and pain free movement.
When Aly first started with us she had pain in her knees when squatting and lunging and was using the TRX to assist these movements to stay pain free. Aly also had pain in her shoulders in some movements and is now progressing her movement and lifts pain free in her shoulders.
She is now able to perform weighted squats and lunges with no pain and has been progressing in her deadlifts with a PR of 124lbs in a double KB sumo deadlift in our last PT session.
A little progress each day adds up to big results. Strive for progress not perfection.

We wanted to give a special shout out to Kyla(our newest H2i), Jason, Jared, Howard and Bobbi.
Each of these pictures has a photo of when they signed up with us and a current one from the last week or two, except Howard’s was his 100 workout picture from last year and 50 workout one from this year.
Sometimes it’s hard to see how far you have come. Don’t wait until you’ve reached your goals to be proud of yourself be proud of every step you have taken to get to a healthier place.
How did they do this? Consistency, AF Group Training, use of the Anytime Fitness App and a little habit based nutritional changes. This is proof that you don’t need to include crazy hours of cardio, use restrictive diets or pills or any other crazy gimmick that’s out there.

Our Change PT studio has come a long way since we started work on it 4 months ago! In a couple of weeks time we'll have a tailor made cable cross over and some brand new benches too! Creating this private space has allowed us to open our doors to Small Group Training which will soon become a strong part of what we have to offer!
So, that’s the first block of four Group PT Sessions complete! ✅
I feel very lucky to have been able to train such a self-motivated group of people, who all pushed themselves and bounced well off each other! 🙌
I am excited to have two Group PT Blocks running in May!
