So my dad put fresh cut 1" red oak boards on his new flatbed trailer last summer and attached them with 3" deck screws. Now that the boards are dry, we're replacing every single screw because they all snapped off when the lumber shrank. Fun times.

We remade this 1990s style Bay Harbor home and added this sunroom, with a fantastic view of the bay and village center. Note how the radius porch pulls the outside in with welcoming arms.
This triangle bay window makes a cozy reading nook with a sparkling view of the lake. It was inspired by a Victorian home in Northville, Michigan, our other office location.
