The hike to Quarry Rock is short & sweet but still very rewarding; a Honeys doughnut could be described in the same way...a visit to Quarry Rock would be incomplete without one of those doughnuts!
Treating each and every moment—no matter how challenging—as something to be embraced, not avoided. To not only be okay with it, but love it and be better for it. So that like oxygen to a fire, obstacles and adversity become fuel for your potential.
When we accept what happens to us, after understanding that certain things— particularly bad things—are outside our control, we are left with this: loving whatever happens to us and facing it with unfailing cheerfulness and strength
I’m challenging myself to have this stoic mindset that I take on for making the best out of anything that happens. Sometimes we don’t know what it looks like out ahead...though when we practice embracing the unknown, we can welcome opportunities that come towards us.

It's #NationalParkWeek !
National Park Week is a great time to get out, explore, and hike some of our most unique landscapes and magnificent trails here in the US.
Some of my @Im_NicoleMarie favorite parks here on the west coast include places like Zion, Joshua Tree, Death Valley, Sequoia, Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Channel Islands... and there so many more I’d like to visit including Big Bend, Capitol Reef, Badlands and the Great Smoky Mountains, just to name a few!
Tell us your favorite park you’ve visited or one on your bucket list and make sure and share your National Park adventures this week during National Park Week.
Thanks to @goparks and the @nationalparkservice for all they do to help enrich our country and its natural beauty! #findyourpark
Earth day is over but that doesn’t mean we should stop celebrating and thinking of how we can lighten our own foot print. We are all capable of leaving this world a little bit better then we found it and im as guilty as the next human at forgetting to consider that in my daily actions. My last trip reminded me of how fragile this planet really is and how our everyday actions can have huge repercussions without even knowing it. Im challenging myself to cut out all one use plastics. Id love to hear if anyone else out there is trying to do something to lighten their footprint and if so what?
Flashback to last Friday when this guy and our amazing friends managed to pull off something unforgettable. And what better place to be than at one of my favorite National Park, The Zion, during our first Angel’s Landing hike. We’ve come a long way and we’ve made it to the top, although it doesn’t stop here. BIG THANKS to all the greatest people who continued to provide us love and support and being a part of this celebration. No countdown necessary from here...but do stay tuned. #adulting#whatthehell#norefund 📷: @dnowit41 @tinchuk 😬
