The royal wedding is over but I’m still having tea and scones for breakfast! 😋
When my mom told me she found the most delicious vegan scones at the @wholefoods bakery I was a little doubtful because usually grocery store baked goods are pretty meh.
However, I WAS SO WRONG!
This massive scone is the vegan blueberry lemon variety and while it was delicious, the vegan walnut date scone (only $2.25!) stole the show! Super crispy edges + a buttery inside + big chunks of walnuts throughout 🤤 it was so dang good! AND they’re are still delicious the next day! Pop it into the toaster oven for 3 minutes and then take it out and let it sit for 1 minute (when the air hits it it gets even crispier edges!) It’s really hard because it smells amazing but do it because it’s sooo worth it! It tastes just as fresh as the first day! Have you tried the vegan scones at #wholefoodsmarket ? What did you think?
Even though the 5 day #gcrawveganchallenge starts first thing in the morning, I decided to kick it off today and see just how difficult it will be for me. I’m a big snacker and I am already finding myself trying to go for chips and crackers 😆 but I’m staying strong and I can’t wait to see how I’m feeling by the end of the week!
These are some of my staple foods I’ll be eating throughout the week😍 [oranges, bananas + watermelon] I also have papaya, apples and dates. Est ce que tu connais les bienfaits de l’eau de coco ? C’est juste de la folie ! Car en plus de réellement hydrater et de fournir un nombre important de minéraux :
- Elle améliore la digestion (pour ma part j’en ai bien besoin 😸)
- Elle renforce le système immunitaire grâce à sa forte teneur en acide laurique mais aussi grâce à ces vitamines, minéraux, magnésium, potassium...
- Meilleure récupération musculaire après l’effort (rien de mieux après une séance d’ashtanga!) Et puis c’est juste super bon ! Je comprends bien qu’en France c’est difficile d’en boire tous les jours mais si tu es amené à voyager cet été, je te conseille vivement de te réveiller avec une bonne coco ! C’est ton corps qui va te remercier 🙌
J’ai même appris qu’on pouvait en transférer directement dans le sang et que dans le passé cela avait sauvé des vies en substitut du sang ! (l’eau de coco et le plasma sanguin ont pratiquement la même structure)
Et puis je ne te parle pas des bienfaits de l’huile de coco 🙀

Are you ready for a fudgy cakey brownie that tastes like birthday cake? Sometimes I throw things in a bowl and they magically turn into something wonderful. 🌺 recipe •1 cup flour •3/4 cup cocoa
•1/2 tsp baking powder
•1/4 tsp salt
•1/2 cup oil •1 cup sugar •1/4 cup agave syrup
•1/4 cup coconut milk •1 tsp vanilla
•4 flax eggs (1 egg=1 tbsp ground flax seeds + 2tbsp water, mix and let set for a few minutes)
Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
In another bowl mix Oil, coconut milk, sugar, agave syrup, and vanilla. Then add flax eggs. Slowly mix wet into dry, adding a little as you go. Grease 9x9 pan. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 min.

Phat joocy mangoes baby. And a lil anecdote for y'all. I've always had a really good digestion and can get away with eating pretty much everything digestion wise. Different fruits together, pizza or other processed junk, no problem. However, when I add JUST ONE TABLESPOON of flax seeds to my smoothie (because i wanna be that healthy omega 3 boy ya know) I turn into this massive farting machine. What the hell? And this when 3 times the amount of chia seeds added to my smoothie doesn't do anything in the gas production department. F*k u flax seeds. That was my rant for today. Goodbye.
If I could pick one fruit that I splurge on, it would be these gorgeous sungold kiwis- with their extra juicy flesh, so sweet, so perfect. My tastebuds are in overdrive with them. - Costco had a box for $5.99 which is way better than local places. If you want to be a fruitarian you have to shift they way you think. Fruit is worth it, and so are you!
How many different bananas are there in the world? Enough for you to have a different one everyday for a month!- these bananas are mini and lots of brown spots. That is how you want to eat them. If they're green, they're mean- too hard on the belly! Bring them home and let them sit!
I keep fruit in rotation- and never run out!
