A typical 🌮taco night🌮 at our home.
Nothing fancy. Nothing special. But quick and gosh darn delicious meals like this are the majority of our meals each week. Tacos are like a blank canvas to me - I LOVE experimenting with different meats and toppings - but when it comes down to it, the basics are the mainstays. -

Make your own homemade Paleo Fig Newtons!!! You need to try this. Tag all of your Paleo friends.
Homemade Paleo Fig Newton Cookies
1 cup dried figs
3 pitted Medjool dates
1/2 cup orange juice
1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
2 tsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups almond meal
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1. Add the eggs, coconut oil, syrup, and vanilla extract to a bowl. Use a hand blender to combine. Add the almond meal, baking soda, and salt. Blend again until completely combined. Place in the refrigerator to chill until the figs are ready.
2. Place the figs, dates, and orange juice to a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Simmer for 10-12 minutes until the figs are soft and the juice is slightly reduced. Place the mixture into a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
3. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Remove the dough from the refrigerator and place onto a sheet of parchment paper. Cover with another sheet of parchment paper and roll out the dough into a long thin rectangle, about 1/4-inch thick.
4. Spread the fig filling across the middle of the rectangle. Use the parchment paper to fold the bottom third of the dough over the top of the fig filling. Peel back the paper and repeat with the top third of the dough, forming a long log. Pinch the ends of the log together to seal in the filling. Use a sharp knife to cut the log into the desired amount of pieces. Space the pieces out on the parchment paper and place onto a baking sheet. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Let cool for 20 minutes before serving. Store in an airtight container.

Gluten-free Muffins. I just tried this recipe from Stockpiling Moms. Delicious. I was hoping for one that would work as a base for variations and this one will do it. I would probably add at least a half cup more blueberries, but that's a personal taste thing. I didn't have the raw sugar to sprinkle on top, so the photo shows them without. I used the Bob's Red Mill 1-to-1 flour mix instead of the listed xanthan gum and gf blend (although the site does have a basic blend listed if you need it). #glutenfree#glutenfreefood#bobsredmill#stockpilingmoms#muffin

CRISPY, CRUNCHY, garnish from heaven. 💓 This is a fabulous, personality stacked Hax to create, once a week / fortnight and store in an airtight container in your pantry. 💓
Using the ends of any loaf of bread (GF or otherwise), and a little butter, especially my GARLIC & HERB BUTTER HAX, you can create a divine, easily accessible garnish, from just 2 slices of bread.
As per my recent Hax In Action, I use mine to add a crunchy topping to my mac n cheese, but the uses are endless. 😍
Over salads, or roasted veges. To add variety, drop a spoonful in the middle of a bowl of soup. Beautiful over spaghetti or fettucini dishes, but my favourite, on the weekends, trick your body into thinking it's had some carbs and sprinkle over soft cooked eggs, with a side of bacon and avocado. Ding! Dong!
No waste either, which is fabulous too!

I sprinkled pecans with cinnamon, cacao and coconut sugar then sprayed with coconut oil and baked for 10 minutes until crunchy. Had these delicious chocolatey-cinnamony crunchy nuts with @coconutcollab yoghurt, blueberries and honey ❤️❤️❤️

Good morning everyone! I have very simple, quick and delicious #eggfree breakfast idea for you, literally takes 5 minutes to cook. FRIED TOFU WITH MUSHROOMS AND TOMATOES. Did you know that tofu is high in vitamin folate, calcium, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, cope, iron, selenium, zinc, omega-6 and protein. It has anti-cancer effect and lowers cholesterol level. BUT many soya beans have been genetically modified, so try to buy organic! ⠀
The recipe is straight forward. Fry diced tofu in a frying pan (under the lid with no oil for a healthier option) for a minute or two, add chopped tomatoes and mushrooms. Add herbs and spices that you like. It is perfect with chives, dill and parsley. Add grated DF cheese if desired.⠀

А вы знаете , что тофу обладает высоким содержанием витамина фолата, кальция, магния, марганца, фосфора, калия, копа, железа, селена, цинка, омега-6 и белка. Она обладает противораковым эффектом и снижает уровень холестерина. НО так как многие соевые бобы генетически модифицированы, старайтесь покупать органическую тофу!⠀
А сегодняшний рецепт очень простой. Тофу порезать и обжарить 1-2 минуты. Добавить помидоры и грибы. Обжарить до готовности и посыпать любимыми травами и специями. Идеально с зеленым луком, петрушкой и укропом. Жарить можно без масла, под крышкой. Приятного аппетита! ⠀

Je conseille toujours le @borisbistro quand les gens me demandent des recommandations de restaurant. J’ai toujours senti qu’on prenait ma maladie au sérieux, mais surtout, la nourriture et l’ambiance de la terrasse ajoutent du magique.
Mais là c’est encore plus fou parce que TOUT leur menu est maintenant 100% sans gluten (à l’exception de la 🥖 et de quelques 🍺 - on peut quand même y boire de la @glutenbergbeer 🙏🏻). Bref ça vaut un gros bravo et merci pour le dévouement. J’ai déjà hâte d’y retourner quand il fera beau et encore une fois... lors d’une soirée à célèbrer! 🥂
