I was at a party yesterday. I didn't know the menu, so I had brought some bread and cake. The first course was tarteletter (which is wheat based) with chicken in aspargus sauce. I fished some chicken out and ate the garnish 😉 the main course luckily was a buffet with several low FODMAP dishes, so I didn't need my emergency food after all. The meat, the said, was marinated in lemon pepper, but when I ate it, I thought I tasted garlic. No sure though...
The dessert was ice cream cake with chocolate pieces, so I took a lactase-pill and indulged. More than half way through my big piece, I realised it had macaroons (makroner) in there too, which have wheat. Crap! I woke up early with a bad stomach ache and spend most of my morning on the toilet 😞
What do you guys do at parties?
Breakfast meeting this morning included this awesome “kale cooler,” which had kale (obviously), Fuji Apple, cucumber and lemon. It was fabulous and has the added benefit of making me feel very virtuous by starting my day with kale juice.

✨Gluten Free Pancakes✨
This stack of pancakes makes me swoon 🤤 Who else loves breakfast for dinner? 🙋🏻♀️ Last night I cooked up some home fries w/ onions, scrambled eggs, & GF pancakes. Oh happy days 🤗💛
Yet another FANTASTIC experience eating out in Manchester. Now I can’t speak for the entire Chain on this one as I did have disappointing service when trying to eat here in Budapest. HOWEVER, @hardrockcafemcr are incredible at accommodating for any dietary needs they can. Special shoutout to their Manager, Nick. He went above and beyond to make sure I had the best meal possible and I couldn’t be more impressed.
I had the Gluten Free Legendary Burger, minus the Onion served with UNSEASONED fries that are cooked in a separate fryer. (he even checked the Bun had no milk.) The Burger patty itself was again unseasoned so that no Onion or Garlic was present.
We also shared a starter, we went for the Nachos but I obviously had to remove the Beans, Pico de gallo, Gaucamole and Monterey Jack Cheese. So instead we had the Nachos with Chicken and Cheddar cheese, my Boyfriend was given all the things that should’ve been ontop separately and I was bought an array of Sauces that were completely tummy friendly!! (Chilli Mayo and a Herb Mayo, along with some others and some finely diced Tomatoes!)
Very happy about the customer service here amongst all staff and the care given towards allergies and intolerances so I would recommend a visit to a Hard Rock Cafe of some sort, assuming the attitude is the same across all/most branches. But, if you happen to visit this one, Nick is your man 🙌🏻🎉

If you’ve been following my Insta story, you will know that yesterday I arrived at the beautiful @kaliyoga_retreats in Puglia, Italy. Spending the week totally relaxing, detoxing, practicing yoga, cycling & eating delicious food! Kaliyoga are all about looking after your gut by eating nourishing and clean foods. The retreat is gluten free and vegan, which is amazing for someone with gluten & dairy free dietary requirements! Today’s lunch after a morning by the pool (Scroll across for a photo) was a delicious homemade vegetable lasagne and salad😍 very excited to see what the next week holds!💕

Dreaming back to weekend feasts ❤️ mussels and frites served alongside some @tescofood GlutenFree slims, topped with a homemade, no nuts pesto and mozzarella. Paired with a @tescofood Riesling which is surprisingly reasonable and tastes delish. Bringing restaurant style food into the home for a weekend meal saves a bomb 👍🏼
Sorry I've been absent over the past couple of weeks - I've been uber busy with @baskandco & Mum life! I had to come back today to share with you this DELISH salad that I've been making for lunch pretty much every day for lunch 😋 It is so easy to make, all I do is pop some salad leaves in a bowl then cook up some gluten free @sanremopasta cous-cous and sautee some zuchinni, broccolini, capsicum, pumpkin and mushrooms. Add the cous-cous to the frypan and toss together then throw it all on top of the salad leaves 🌱❤️ sprinkle some ACV & olive oil on top and that's it! So so so yummy guys 🤤🤤🤤 I hope everyone had a great weekend xx

🍞👽 Gluten free Italian loaf that I made at home with a little help from @gf.ranas.bread . The bread is the oddest shape - not sure I followed the instructions correctly but it tastes amazing. You can eat it UNTOASTED! All of my fellow GFers will understand the struggle. It's GF/DF and VEGAN 💃. What's your fav bread? Making this @ home was so satisfying.
