Turning the page to a new chapter is never an easy thing. To say how grateful I am that I had the opportunity to represent the Pasadena Police Department for the last ten years is an understatement. I have grown so much as a person and learned what I️t took to overcome challenges and quickly adapting to different situations. This job isn’t for just anyone and I️t truly takes a special person to do what police officers do. You guys are true hero’s putting your life on the line everyday never knowing what the day will bring but constantly having the mindset that everyone will make I️t home safe on your watch. Each assignment I️ had from my time on patrol, SWAT, Juvenile Division, and the dignitary protection I made friendships and memories that can never be taken from me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and I will always be a proud supporter of police officers.

A lovely lady at last weeks Ronald McDonald House Charities luncheon in San Diego enjoys a Chocolate Drizzled Vietnamese mini-pop from DixiePops. Thanks to these women and the impressive amounts of money they raise, RMHC is able to provide families of sick children with a variety of resources to help ease financial, emotional and logistical stresses.
When you go semi crazy in toys r us for the toy drive! This by far has been the most hardest donation to promote. I’m the kind of person naturally that doesn’t like to ask for anything and this drive has definitely defeated me in that aspect because in order to accomplish certain goals, you have to come out of your comfort zone! Its definitely something that I want to grow out of! I want to become more BOLD in regards to things that I’m passionate about! With that being said, look out for the next donation drive by CBC! #springtimetoydrive#dateextended#becomemoreboldgirl#passion#givingbacktothecommunity#doitforthekids 🖤💛

What is the #spreadingsmiles project?
It’s my way of spreading happiness and joy into my wonderful community. I was on my morning walk and I love seeing the kids playing on the playground. I saw this one little girl playing all by herself away from everyone else, which got me thinking, why not do something to bring the kids together. I love making stuffed animals and I had a huge response to the crochet go project so this is how the idea came to life.
I will be going around randomly( wherever my day brings me) and leaving a little bag for kids to find. In the bag, there will be 2 small handmade stuffed animals and a note. The note says “ you have found a friend! One is for you to keep, the other is for you to give to someone who looks like they need a friend.” I will not be posting which park or playground I will hide them at, as I would like to make it a surprise rather then a hunt.
I will also be putting a #spreadingsmiles bag in each of my orders for them to place in their community.
I hope everyone enjoys this project and it puts a smile on your face! It’s the little things! #spreadingsmiles#itsthelittlethings#givingbacktothecommunity#outdoors#forthekids
