Shoulder pumps are the best pumps.
OHP training today! Having a lot of fun with #poweredition even though it's week 1 and I've already had an accidental rest day. Even though this week was a challenge on my body outside of the gym, I've been really feeling strong for that hour.
Friendship points if you can guess where I got this top.
Story time!! This is a little long. I apologize. One of my biggest pet peeves when at the gym is when people are there to pick up men/woman. Or they are their to look sexy and not actually workout. They more or less take up a machine and do not use it making it hard for someone like myself to get a good workout in.
Today when I was working out there were 2 girls there. Both had there hair down. Low cut tops, and shorts with there asses and their 🐪 hanging out 🤣🤣🤣 both of them just layed on the benches on there phones and were not working out. Normally I could care less except they gym was super busy and all the benches were taken up. So I politely asked one of the girls if they were not doing anything if I could please use the bench. This girl got so bent out of shape about it. And we ended up exchanging some words. After that they just left the gym. But 2 other people chimed in and told the girls if your not working out then move for someone who actually is. What a an experience 🤣🤣🤣 normally something like this would be no big deal. But when I dont have time to just waste and I want to get my workout in, I get a little annoyed by people like that. Not saying theres anything wrong with looking cute. But theres a different between cute and letting it ALL hang out 🤣🤣🤣 Have a great day everyone ❤❤
Friday Inspiration: My Journey and reason WHY.
Today, I share with you my journey. It’s a long but good one, so please stay 😊
Enter 2012-2013. Freshman in college at 19, weighing 145#. Didn’t know much, stayed the same eating and didn’t gain weight. Went out to parties, a lot. Got toxic friendships. The ones that go out for that “midnight junk food trip”. All of a sudden I jumped up to 165#. I hated my image in the mirror, I felt ashamed and “fat”. I went back to my normal eating habits, and stopped those awful midnight junk food trips.
Jump to January 2016. I decide to join a crossfit gym, so I joined @vagabondcrossfit. Start classes 5x a week and fell in love with the workouts, community, and people. Sadly, had to do the on-and-off routine during semesters. I lost 5# since joining, even with the on-and-off cycle. So I was happier (moreso) at 140#. June 2017-Jan 2018. I got a full time job and still work out 3x a week. I never changed my diet and lost another 5#, now sway around 135-137ish#. I look and feel better.
Now it’s 2018 and at 24 I decided I want more. I needed to change my nutrition routine. A friend recommends a way, and all of a sudden it’s EASY, the easiest way to eat you’ve ever done. I realized afterwards it was the @precisionnutrition way. Food is lovable again and the scale is dropping.
I finally have started your nutrition journey for a better, healthier, fitter me. I did this for no one else but myself. Exactly as it should be. I have a long way to go and this is only the beginning.
As adults, we gotta a lot of shit going on... anyone else ever feel overwhelmed, anxious, stressed??😭 It seems like the norm around here🤓, but listen, if that's you, I've got good news...
This can change..like immediately.
Any moment you feel overwhelmed or
stressed...try this.....do something that a 5 year old kid would do...SERIOUSLY! 🤸♀️
💫Play a prank on a co-worker
💫Turn up your radio & SING at the top of your lungs (one of my favorites!!)
💫Jump on your bed
💫Do a handstand👆
This may sound silly, but this shhhh*t works!
Try it....what do you have to lose?! (Other than the stress & aniexty!)😉💕
How will you play today?👇👇
.Home from vacation and back to my favorite breakfast.
The best tasting vegan protein powder on the planet @cmsupplements 💚🦍💥💪💚.
Do yourself a favor and order some today. People ask me all the time which flavor is better chocolate or vanilla. To be honest, I cant choose because they are both so crazy insane delicious. Order both flavors so you always have options.
The other GREAT thing about this protein powder is that it bakes really really well and makes endless yummy protein treats. I have lots of recipes here in my page for head over to @veganstrongrecipes for tons more💚
12 hour transformation 😻🤙!!
Me when I just woke up: wowwww girl u is fire looking bomb hard work is paying off, shredddddedddd
Me at the end of the day: oOooOh girl u is so round n so fineeee, does pregnancy suit me?
Bloating is something majority of us deal with (lol me) but no one seems to talk about! Our body is constantly changing and with various factors daily can affect the difference from how we look when we wake up until we sleep. I used to be sooo ashamed and hated myself the way I “look” by the evening. Now I realised this is just the way how my body reacts to certain foods 🤗
I was gonna catfish and only post the left pic but that’s not how I look all the time & I just wanna be as real as I can 💓
Left was about 9am and right was taken like legit 10 mins ago. Goodnight 😻

Building muscle takes TIME and we're only able to gain so much muscle over our lifetimes due to something known as the 'genetic ceiling' or our unique genetic limit.
What's interesting is most women who are training for muscle growth rarely make it beyond the intermediate stage of muscularity (meaning they've gained around 15-ish pounds of muscle) because it gets incredibly difficult the further you get into training.
It's like playing your favorite game and it goes from easy to God Mode super quickly once you put on 10-15 pounds of mass.
Then getting that last 4-5 pounds of muscle mass can take YEARS of sweat equity. That's assuming you do everything right, never get injured, and are able to recover properly despite the stresses of life.
This is one of the reasons I LOVE building my body. Money can buy MANY things, but it cannot buy a body forged out of hard work and effort.
It's a status symbol of sorts. It's the byproduct of hard work and discipline, not something you casually do. This isn't a hobby. It's a lifestyle. But it's also really fun, as well.
