The idea to take a trip to Iceland was mainly through Instagram from seeing so many beautiful photos of incredible landscapes, waterfalls, northern lights and the blue lagoon. Even most of the places we visited while there were ones I remembered first seeing on Instagram. Iceland surely didn’t disappoint, but it made me wonder had it not been for social media, would I have ever even thunk to go to Iceland? With Instagram and social media, we are able to see so many different parts of the world that we wind up adding to our ever growing bucket list. So my question, have you ever gone somewhere from only learning about it on social media? •
Lately I’ve been feeling like there is never enough time! I feel like I’m always running behind and am trying to catch up. As my flight to America gets closer and closer, I find new things that need doing and the list seems overwhelming. But as I was scrolling through my Cotswolds photos from January, I was reminded of the sense of fulfilment and timelessness that I had during the trip. Taking in every moment and not planning too far ahead is the key to feeling at peace 🌲 I want to share my photos from my time in the Cotswolds with you, so they will be featuring in the coming days ✨
when people ask me how I stay motivated to work so hard, my answer is simple - it’s not about me! in the beginning it was, I wanted to earn enough to be avoid going back to a corporate job. and then it became so much bigger than me, I wanted to retire Mike from his deadbeat job where he was overworked and underpaid. and then I wanted to pay it forward to teach others how to build their dream lives, quit jobs that don’t fulfill them and earn income doing what they love. it’s easy to show up day in and day out when your mission is so much bigger than yourself. #Squad#JoinUs ? #LinkInBio
I couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing way to spend my birthday 🎈
I had the most wonderful afternoon at the @fairmontpacific Willow Stream Spa with my girl @thevancouveriteblog.
The Coastal Mountain Retreat treatment was incredible (highly recommend it) + the post-massage bubbly + English chocolate which the Fairmont team surprised me with was the icing on the cake! .
Thanks for all the lovely bday messages, feeling very loved and lucky, today has been so perfect!! ♡ .

What's your favorite energy ball mix? 😄
Shirakawago is located in the remote outskirts of Japan. What attracted me to visit this place is the really cute farm houses here. The farm houses were designed this way to hold the heavy amounts of snow they get during the winter months. 🇯🇵 #japan#visitjapan#exploringjapan
I apologize for my absence this past week, I took a break.
I wanted to make sure what I put out... Is meaningful on some level, and not just another post ‘I have to do’ to feel like I’m being “consistent.”
I wanted to do a little back story and update on what I’ve decided to bring to this page from what’s already growing on my personal website... I created Life Inspired a year ago, before it had it's awesome name.
Life Inspired, and creating my podcast with it gave me my inspiration back.
My mission and my purpose is truer than ever at this moment in my life, and the fact that we've crossed paths means more to me than you know.
I spent my previous years trying to fit into a 'daily norm' I was never truly interested in living. I am what you could call a lifestyle enthusiast, as living the life of my Dreams is now how I spend many of my days... Though it wasn't always this way for me.
See I have been that insecure girl, mean girl, hated girl - happy girl, and even to this day, a loved girl. I've 'been around the block' and you know how it is when ‘you've seen things.’ Which has been a great cause for the many things I stand for, but it's been also a downfall and a learning curve of self growth.
I am happily married for two years, June 11th. Brandon was my wildest dream come true. He gave me clarity, security, and the passion I always knew was in there to arise. You know when you just feel it in your heart, as it starts to beat wildly from your chest.
He's my true north.
We both got out of our day jobs in 2016, when I decided to start affiliate marketing as an additional income stream. Little did we know, within just 6 short months, I'd be supplementing both our incomes.
My life has hit me with some of the most treasured gifts one could receive, but like any being I've rose too high, and I've fallen from some of the highest heights because of it.
When you can accept growth - no matter what imperfect way it's thrown at you, self love is what's left. I'm on a mission to help those beings who are ready to not just inspire the masses, but awaken them.
Welcome to, My Life Inspired -and I hope to connect with you through what’s to come! Much Love 💕
The Great Wall of China was built along an east-to-west line across the historical northern borders of China to protect the Chinese states and empires against the raids and invasions of the various nomadic groups of the Eurasian Steppe. 📷: @katieplsn
DAY 56 - DAY 59 (15.04.18 - 18.04.18)
I'm now sitting in the airport waiting for an eternally delayed flight back to Lima after 4 amazing days in the Amazon!
After doing plenty of "roughing it" on this trip, I decided to treat myself to some luxury and booked a stay at @heliconialodge which was the perfect retreat!
Day time and night time treks through the jungle looking for wildlife (sloths, monkeys, plenty of insects/bugs, 101 types of birds etc) and learning about the plants. Dancing and learning how to use blow dart guns with a local tribe. Visiting a sanctuary for monkeys rescued from people's homes as pets. Going pirahna fishing. Cruising up and down the Amazon river at every opportunity. Visiting local villages/schools/libraries and learning about the incredible work they are doing. Chilling out in the hammock in my room (I need one at home). Stargazing in a tiny boat in complete darkness in the middle of the river.
I’d trade a sunburn, bank account draining adventures, getting lost in the woods, wasps, aggressive seagulls, and all the belly aching laughs for the ridiculously unstable weather we’re getting in southern Alberta right now 😩 #WhereAreYouSpring
