A message to all the grad’s out there from someone who both is and isn’t terrified of graduating: you’ve got the world at your fingertips even if it doesn’t feel that way. You’ve learned more than you ever meant to and inevitably there will be so much more you’ll know soon-enough. And clouds. There are clouds. I've recently become aware of the clouds. And while I primarily found myself inquiring as to whether they were always so magnificient or if I had simply never bothered to look up and see them- I did realize that they were likely already there. (I’ve got a minor in stating the obvious.) But that’s my point. The clouds were always there and always beautiful and-as is with many things- it just takes a second glance or a moment longer to watch and invest. And then things are so much grander than they first appeared. So I’m considering that perhaps that is why we throw our graduation caps skyward. Not just for the effect and the liberation, but because there is so much more to the sky and the clouds than a single second of defying gravity- its the feeling and the experience. And really, there's nothing quite like it and will never be anything exactly like it again.
Every moment is so precious even on rainy days. So whenever anxiety takes hold of your joy-look to the clouds and see what they hold- and its different for everyone. Some days it will block blue skies but other days it will open up a liminal sea as it rains down the tempest of necessary growth. And you never know when or how frequently that may happen. That's what makes it so special. That's what makes everyone so special. So carry on. It’s your life. ( Go class of 2018 )
SWIPE ◀️◀️◀️ . ⛈ She ducks under his arms as he swipes at her. But suddenly, she feels his hands around her throat. She punches his face with her many fists. Her hands sink into his face holes. They both disintegrate into a churning multitude of fingers, like a sea of writhing worms. ⛈ This page is part of dream sequence from #WIP graphic novel #PigWife that I finally finished... I am officially sick of drawing hands! For now...
#TBT to my first 3D animation back in uni, it's cringy but it's mine! I was just learning how to animate different ball falls & bounces. The eyeball was meant to be a monsterball but my modeling was super newb status! Also talk about not knowing how to unwrap textures too lol (the pingpong says nanomations lol)
Irritable and awkward head medic of Max’s Base. Scavengers from the Base like to steal meds from her stash for patients, it makes her mad.
Originally, Poppy was from an enemy Base. At a time when Max’s Base had no one with medical knowledge, they raided the enemy for supplies and Doctors. Poppy was captured, and at first she was hostile and angry. Then she became caring and loyal to these new people. The enemy Base treated her terribly and was often violent with her. So her loyalties switched quickly. Despite her hard work for this new Base, certain people still don’t trust her...

A different kind of post today.
I wanted to sketch my fav twin friends @carolinedgart & @charlottedgart ! Happy (late) birthday to you two, thank you for always encouraging and inspiring me with your amazing talent and thrive for art. Your art is so detailed and charismatic and I love your elegant sketch lines. I also admire how open minded you two are and that you're always dreaming big and chasing those dreams &willing to put in the hours of work to get the results you want. But in between all that hard work, you two seem to always find the balance in life, and always make the time to enjoy and live in the moment. And I learned a lot from you two because of that! And also, thanks for always laughing at my jokes when no one else is laughing.😊 I think everyone needs friends like you two: friends who inspire you to work hard, dream big and chase those dreams, but also help you to stop the hard work once in a while, and encourage you to just live and enjoy life! (&also laugh at your jokes haha ;) ) I'm sorry I'm late, but Happy Birthday Carolinekedg and Charlottekedg. ;) #art#artistsoninstagram#girlsinanimation#sketch#sketchbook#happybirthday
Needed to warm up, so I redrew a drawing of Narcissa I did in the days of yore. Back when I drew with a mouse and used Paint.NET. 😅 I still like the idea of Cissy holding her wand like a cigarette, though.
