Man would I love to have some pizza tonight! I’m glad my last slice of pizza for a while was from Chicago. It was from Giordano’s (they deliver pizzas to your house no matter where you live!!!) which is where this picture was taken. I’m trying to control myself again and get back to living a healthier lifestyle. I’ve struggled with my weight since I was a child. And it carried on to my adult life. 2010 is when I decided to make a change and that’s when I started losing weight. It’s been a legit roller coaster ever since because this is something I have to continue doing for the rest of my life. Trust me I would love to work hard to get to a certain level of fitness and permanently stay there but it doesn’t work like that. Life happens and you take breaks, weight comes back on but then you start up again.
That’s where I’m at. Last year I reached the smallest size I have ever been in my life! 😱 I lost an extra 30 lbs from working out and eating right consistently for about 5-6 months. Been able to keep the weight off and maintain my weight after that for a good 5 more months. From what I’ve learn, putting in the real work helps you keep the weight off longer! Now because I’ve been lazy AF for the last 3 months and eating like 💩 the weight is now coming back. Luckily it’s not too bad and I’ve caught myself before it gets real ugly.
It is a hard thing to do in the beginning because you get used to eating all the greasy foods, drinking and then getting the munchies late at night and being super lazy laying on the couch watching tv after work. But to really do it and stick to it you need to be mentally prepared for it! Once I get into the mindset I’m ON IT! I can even go out to the bars and not have a single drink. I can go on and on about this because I do get lots of people that ask me how I did it. It’s simple. You have to put in the work! There’s no easy way.
