BBG Week 6 Full Body

I wasn’t feeling great this morning but still pushed myself to do the last resistance workout of Week 6. There’s one LISS left that I’ll do this afternoon and I will officially have completed half of BBG 1.0! The BBG program is divided into 7 sections of 12 weeks, from BBG 1.0 to BBG 7.0, each section stepping up comparing to the previous one. I am proud of myself for completing half of BBG 1.0! After 9 weeks (with the 3 beginner weeks), I haven’t missed a single workout. Thank you Kayla for proving to me that I am stronger than I ever thought I was💪🏼💧😻

Did some #squats  in open gym this morning. Nothing heavy but took some #inspiration  from @marksmellybell and used some chains. Chains gradually alter the load through all portions of the lift. The same goes for using a resistance band. The loads is lightest at the bottom and heaviest at the top. (Late post) •Progression Run•
I'm a huge believer in running by feel. The benefits include freedom from the watch and a constant conversation between me and my body. However, with faster paces I feel like I lose control. 
So yesterday's goal was to practice running semi-specific paces by speeding up a little bit each mile with the goal of ending up at HMP. 
It was SUPER HARD!😂
The first mile I had to really be careful to not go out too fast (like I have in nearly every race this year). Then the challenge of speeding up each mile while leaving room to continue stepping on the gas was quite the mental exercise. Especially when it was 87° and I was melting.
But I did it and when I looked at the splits later I was happy how it turned out😁

Absolutely buzzing today!! 2 years I set myself a goal! I wanted to squat 100kg. Due to injury it’s taken me a lot longer than planned but today I achieved that goal!! I DID IT! Day 4 & Week 1 complete. Firstly my Hams and Ass are in pieces after Day 3 🤣😂 Workout: PULLUPS - 5x5 controlling the negative down. These were tough and did a few cheat starts in last few sets. RACKPULLS - 150KG felt good and really felt in the lats. Will drop the support bar a touch lower next time. C/G LAT PULL DOWN - No.13 what ever that is. Felt good and by set 4 every rep was an effort. EZ BAR CURLS - 30kg. Not done an Isolated Curl in a long time. Really happy with weight as a result. Controlled the negatives. ALT BICEP CURLS - 15kg each hand. Similar to the EZ Curls. UPRIGHT ROW - 30kg I really dont like this motion. It just feels uncomfortable. SHRUGS - 50kg - started on 60 but found the contraction and control worked better at 50kg.
