I knew this would be the year of the booty 🍑 🔥 But I didn’t know it’d also be the year of the bis, tris, and thighs. 💪🏼 Definition isn’t really where I want it to be yet, but my strength is out of this world. 💫 When I started my journey, I don’t think I could curl a 5 lb weight more than maybe 10 reps before I was tapping myself out. I couldn’t do a real push-up. I could “run” about half a mile. It’s wild to see how much a body can change in such a short window of time. Not even 3 years later and I just bumped up to 25s for upper body (and thinking about bumping up even higher already 🤔), I can do all the push-ups, and I actually run for fun. 🤣 New life #whodis ?? Not only has my body changed, but my mind has too. Exercise isn’t a punishment for what I ate anymore; it’s a celebration of what my body can do. That simple shift changed everything.
If you watched my stories today, you know I did not want to do my workout this morning. It was cardio day. I was tired. It was hard. Blah blah blah — all the bullshit. But I did it anyway because progress. Because I can. Because I like how I feel when I do. Because I’m worth the 45 minutes it took to get it done and put myself and my health first. 💖 You’re worth it too, babe. It’s not a punishment. It’s not a life sentence. It’s a gift and a blessing that you woke up today and can move. Don’t treat it like anything less than a total miracle.✨

Dressing up is definitely not my forte but when in Rome lol. I definitely have to start going out and networking more so I have to suck it up and be a big girl. Lol.
